A few skipping hooves against the cold rock beneath, and the excitement of a young fae could be heard and smelled all over the place. Ears straightened up and looking up at the sky, as lightning flashed and glimmered in a spectacular lightshow. Her eyes wide with admiration she studied the sky before Thunder`s Horizion appeared by her side and gently nudged her. His sparkling eyes met with the younger tempestine, and the two stood for a moment and watched each other, a smile and hint of joy reflecting in both of their eyes. As the light continued on, it eventually faded as the tempestine galloped on throughout the sky. Blinking out of the somewhat looking trance, Tonerre turned on the older male. From the corner of her eye, she'd spotted her friend make a sharp motion which she took as a sign.

The beautiful tempestine clacked her hooves against the ground once, and Thunder`s Horizion smiled softly. "It's magnificent, isn't it?" he said. Slowly, Tonerre nodded and looked over the dark clouds that passed on through the valley. There was a blink of a light, and a few seconds of silence, then a thunderous boom. Flailing slightly at the sudden and loud noise, she staggered backwards. Her fellow tempestine merely laughed at her though. There was an awkward pause before Thunder`s Horizion finally opened her mouth to talk with her.

"... Would you like to try?" he asked softly. It felt as if a rock had dropped right through Tonerre's stomach and she froze in the position she'd had when the loud thunder had rolled on. "Really? Would you let me?" Tonerre asked, as if not believing this could happen to her. With a hint of amusement and a short laughter, Thunder`s Horizion nodded. "Although we'll have to do it together. You're still a youngling, and I wouldn't like to have you hurt in any way. Then it would be me to blame." she/he told the younger tempestine. More excited than ever, the young filly jumped about, before the two gathered together to share their forces.

"Alright, focus all your energy on making the lightning. The thunder will come naturally, although you have to be able to create the stream of energy that you send down to earth. It will be a vital part of the making of a storm." he said gently, and Tonerre nodded with a joyous look upon her face. "Lets go then!" he said and laughed as the two stormed forwards, the sound of their hooves alone loud enough to create the illusion of a thunder cracking through the sky. Looking to her right, Tonerre noticed that Thunder`s Horizionhad already started creating the lightning and thunder, his antlers glowing and crackling with the same lightning that flashed down below the clouds. With a reassuring nod from her companion she focused her mind of making the stormy weather all tempestines could make, and to her frustration it wouldn't work at first. Then her mind fell onto the marvelous lights that the other tempestines made, and simply the thought of being able to make one of those facinated her. Suddenly a sharp whitish yellow lightning broke the sky beneath her, and she squealed with joy.

Her first lightning being made, she had no problems creating more. The sky rattled with the forces that was sent through it, the slightly sharper and more experienced lightning of Thunder`s Horizion along with her newly found ones. As the two galloped through the sky, she thought her chest would burst with the pleasure she had by doing this. This is what I love! Oh how lucky I am to be born a tempestine! she thought and trotted on through the skies, bringing the thunderous storm with her, side by side with Thunder`s Horizion. Nothing at all would ever make her forget this experience, ever.

I'm too tempted by her gorgeous design to let her pass without giving it a go <3 Either way, I had fun creating this and I see her as an overjoyed and enthusiastic tempestine with tons of energy to match ^.^

Colby and Melano were walking among the clouds. It was cold and dark and Melano could see her own breath puff out like a minature cloud. The two had strayed from their herd. Melano looked up at the stars. Their hooves kicked up bits of cloud as they walked. Colby seemed bored. "Ugh can we go back now?" He asked. Melano snorted. " Lets do something fun while were here." She said trying to lighten the mood. She knew how easily bored Colby could get. "I know!" She exclaied. "We can have a race!"

"A race.....uhm okay..A race to where?" Colby said unenthusiastically. " To that heart shaped cloud over there." She replied. She flicked at it with her tail. He leaned back, ready to bolt forward. Melano did the same. "Ready...set....go!" Melano said as she sprinted forward. Colby was already ahead of her. She tried to make her strides longer but she still lagged behind him. Their mighty hooves made thunder echo and they pounded the rain out of the clouds. They bobbed their heads up and down as they ran.

Colby passed the heart shaped cloud and reared triumphantly. The electrical current in his antlers were buzzing. He flicked his head down, sending a lightning bolt descending into the land below. "Haha." He said as he looked over at Melano. Melano smiled at him. " Race you back." She excalaimed and took off again. Colby bolted after her and they both galloped back through the clouds.

Short Story:
The bright white clouds had been pretty several days ago... But now they were a lurid glare in Seren's eyes and she wanted the bright light to go away. Letting out a short bugle, Seren alerted any other tempestines that might be near. A quick reply came, and a bay paint tempestine appeared through a white cloud drift to Seren's left. The bay mare's lashing tail and tossed head told Seren that she was not enjoying the sunny weather either. The two mares dipped their head's in mutual respect and began the dance.
Both reared and brought their hooves down slightly to the right. One step back; then they began to circle. First a trot, their hoofbeats against the cloud cover a rough staccato. Quicker, in an ever-widened circle they cantered. Beneath their feet the clouds gathered thicker and began to darken. Faster, faster, static crackled around their antlers, and energy arced between their two forms. Strides quickened, and both mares leapt into a gallop at the same time, their footfalls matched in a quick beat against the blackened sky. From beneath their feet come a low rumble as thunder rolled over the land below. Even here the mares can hear the fall of rain below them, and they slow their dance. The matched gallop fades to a light canter then falls into a choppy trot. Their beat falls out of sync, and the two slow to a walk. They meet in the middle, their heads close together. The bay mare looks to Serenade the Storms for the signal. With a satisfied snort, she gives it, and the two raise once more to bring their hooves crashing into the clouds. With one final crack, the storm begins to break.
The two mares relax beside each other, and watch as their creation fades once more.

The bay mare in the story is my mare, Luarakin. I thought they looked like perfect friends, and it was fun writing a story that brought them together <3

The beautfiul chestnut Tempestine lugged behind, grumbling random things under her breath. " C'mon Kayk, lets race."
" But Kas-"
She was cut off quickly by my rude glare.
"Fine!"
As my back legs outstrectched before me, I felt a surge of adrenaline as the wind raced forward. Ill win, I know Ill win.
Kaylia surged up behind, her champange mane flailing in the wind. No, stay back!

I had barely noticed Kay's quick shout-out warning before I tumbled and almost tripped over the cloud.

Braelyn and Ammagil were playing in the clouds, Braelyn told Ammagil that they should play a game in who could make the baddest rain storm. Ammagil thought that would be the best game to play, Ammagil went first, she tried her hardest to make the biggest baddest rainstorm, she jumped as high as she could and made loads of rain come down also lightning and thunder from jumping so high in the sky, After Ammagil was done Braelyn turn was up, she ran as fast as her hoofs could carry her and then she jumped as far up into the sky and landed with a loud BANG!!! she made it pour a lot under the clouds an it wouldn't stop lightning and thundering for a few days.

Short Story: poetry was running on the clouds when she spotted a male, a very hot male. she watched as he stood there looking around, he had not seen her yet. Poetry acted smooth and walked up to him. As she shyly stood there he looked at her and smiled slightly jerking his head telling him to come. She watched as his muscles rippled, he reared then took off, she followed, as they courted and ran around all day with her they stirred up a large storm that stormed for 12 days representing a dozen roses. Each time the thunder crashed they were telling each other they love one another.
