I mean I kinda get it. Why not make season two on what we got and then finish the manga for season three. From what I hear there is a lot of stuff so much that there could be quite a few seasons. I have pretty much given up on season 2 just like I have on Scumbag System. That one the novel is complete. They said covid made it hard. Ok others are now back at work doing stuff so why?

Yeah ..idk. Was Scumbag villain animated or more like CGI? I think CGI is a bit more complex and harder to do.
