@Yoshikage~kira- YOOOO good luck!! i remember when i came out publicly, i think i was 12? it was so scary but i will never forget a girl in my theater group who texted me afterwards to ask me my pronouns and stuff :sob: i still get misty-eyed thinking abt it tbh. basically someones gonna be for you who that girl was for me, its gonna be great. :D
@deercan - NICE!!! if u feel safe, comfortable, and interested in going to a pride event then i actually require u to do so its SO much fun and i still think abt my first pride a lot .. i broke a rib there
but fr thats really exciting and i hope you have fun!! :D even if u dont go i promise u every time u drive or walk past a flag that applies to u u get to go ":D thats me hehe" its so good
@barbie! - i meant to listen to the song when u posted it in discord but forgot. then u posted that and i meant to listen to it and forgot. and i still havent. im a bad ally /j BUT awesome!! its great to have a song and even better if its a good one LMAO. tell me all about coming out experiences!! youve got enough charm and charisma to win over anyone i reckon so i bet itll go great :)
@drift. - DUUUUUUDE THATS SO GOOD OMGGGG pls my heart. warmed. take lots of pictures!! buy pride stuff and put it on ur animals im obsessed with your dog.. hes as dumb as a bag of rocks and proud of it. and i love him for it so much. you know i used to have a dog that looked JUST like him :0c also feel free to!! send me stuff abt ur experience :D!! u live in a different area than me so i wonder if its notably different?
@bees<3 - me too!! the unity is something i dont often realize? pay attention to? im not sure lol. but like suddenly during pride even just ambiently it feels so connected, i love it :) like one big slightly dysfunctional family
@catowu - CONGRATS!! welcome to the club :D that first june really is like magic i tell you bro
@freaky! - im so proud of you!! coming out is such a monumental first step and its awesome that you figured yourself out!! the pronouns thing is difficult for sure, it took my family ages, and i remember it felt like electric shocks when my dad introduced me as his son for the first time. it's been a wild ride from there, so just hold on tight and have fun! :D
@carouselprincess - OMG THATS SO GOOD!!!!!! you know its kind of a good thing that i forgot to end this until now because your step-sibling reminded me that my cousin, who i grew up with like a brother, is dating someone nonbinary from his high school. i get to meet them today at his graduation :) it's not direct family like that, but i think it still counts ^_^ its awesome that you get to go to pride with not only your family there to support you, but also standing beside you!!
as for my pride & summer it's a hectic first half of june for sure, but smooth sailing after. im going through driver's ed classroom hours right now, i got a covid test today, i get surgery on thursday, and my permit test is the day before!
i brought my best friend to a family picnic yesterday so we both got to peruse my grandad's stuff that he couldn't keep when he moved in with his wife after so many years, which is so good for him! i got a couple fun jars, lots of rocks, a compass, and.. A RECORD PLAYER! it also has aux and usb, so i've got spotify running thru it right now :) a downside for my parents is that they can hear all my music but im just sooo good at picking good songs so they can cope yk.
anyways, happy pride everyone, its so good seeing people have positive experiences and learning about themselves and others :) i hope you guys have a less active and stressful start to the month than i did, but also i hope your summer is just as rewarding! i'm currently looking forward to my birthday on the 29th!
