Their honour.

They wanted to be able to show their face again, they don’t want to hide it or be ridiculed for being banished from their home over a mistake that wasn’t theirs.

revenge, justice, retribution.

They seemed so out of reach if they were also so close. They just had to get back the determination and pride that was stolen from them.

It was just a soul, they had only accepted a soul for their own, from someone they believed they could trust. But they were betrayed, the soul they held near their heart was what earned them a first class boot into the streets. Despite everything they couldn’t split the soul from their body now... they were stuck with it.

And thus they set out on a quest to retrieve their honour, to take out the demon who gave them the cursed morals and empathy that came with this soul. They hated feeling bad, they hated guilt. They wanted a way to get rid of that.

The only thing it would take is to wretch this soul from their body and give it to Lorçan.

Only then could they get their honour back.

He had lost his lover long ago, to an accident foretold by fate. A thousand warnings had been given, but they believed the red thread of fate can be cut, if they just tried. But his partner's life was cut instead. Kira had wished desperately for things to change.

And things did change. By another cruel twist of destiny, he was now working for the overlord in the land of the dead. But that was perfect! In his earlier wish, his true desire was to see his beloved's face, even if it was another fleeting second. And here in the underworld, he must be here, somewhere, amongst the millions of souls.

Kira was going to find his partner, whether its now when he is living, or when he becomes a ghost himself.

She wants to find the fountain of youth. As a demon, a long life is guaranteed but this isn't the case for her best friend- a human who she met during a festival as a child. As the years went by Vehra found herself becoming more and more determined to help them live a longer life and so set out on her own to return one day and surprise them.
