Suddenly, she heard a long low howl. She didn’t realize what was happening until the tornado hit. She was whisked into the air, barking all the while. Sammy heard her and came out from the tree trunk he was hiding under. He flew into the tornado and bit Silver’s Collar. They stayed together in the air until the tornado dropped them far from home. It often looks like he's talking to himself, and because of that he has few friends and most think he's crazy.

what is their relationship? While Damien has been a stray most of his life, Lola used to have an owner; a kind old woman who sadly passed a little while ago. When there were no relatives willing to take her in, the local pound tried to pick her up, but she was scared by the terrible rumors of that place and ran away. She probably wouldn't have been able to make it on the streets by herself, especially after the grief of losing her previous owner, but luckily Damien was there to keep an eye on her. He's been a constant companion and gentle support throughout her transition. She doesn't know what she'd do without him. While they're incredibly close and affectionate with each other, Damien hasn't wanted to ask for an official relationship until he can find a place both he and Lola can call home. The city streets aren't really the best spot to start a family, after all. They've been on quite the journey looking for the perfect place- he thinks he's finally found it, but I suppose we'll see.

extras: Their favorite dumpster find is leftover chinese takeout. Lola loves slurping the noodles and Damien is a beast for eggrolls- even though he gets bits of lettuce stuck in his fur that Lola has to fish out later when he complains of feeling slimy.
