Grayson is a pessimistic and self-degrading guy.
He always expects the best from himself, and a
lot of the time he has unrealistic expectations
of what he should be able to achieve. If Grayson
doesn't meet the expectations he has set for
himself he gets very stressed and upset. The way
he relieves this stress is through music. Grayson
plays piano and guitar, so whenever anything gets
to be too much for him he sets aside whatever he
is doing, and either picks up his guitar or sits at his
piano. Playing one of the two instruments allows
Grayson to get lost in the sounds of the music, and
momentarily forget whatever made him so stressed
in the first place. Socially, he isn't one to start a
conversation, and keeps to himself when he can.
That doesn't mean he necessarily actively avoids
socializing though. Gray is introverted, but he
doesn't back out of a conversation if someone starts
one with him. Once he starts taking about something
he's passionate about it's hard to get him to shut up.

Ever since Gray could remember, Jax has been his best friend.From the time they
were young kits they'd always hang out.They more or less grew up together. Through the
good times and the bad they've stuck with each other.You could say that Jax is the yin to
Gray's yang. He helps Gray loosen up, and always reminds him that perfection isn't possible.
Mistakes happen, and everyone makes them. He'll always mention how Gray shouldn't solely
equal his self worth with how well he does certain tasks. Not only does Jax keep Gray
grounded, but Gray does the same for Jax. In contrast to Gray's need for perfection, Jax
couldn't care less about anything. In school, Jax had a tendency to skip his lectures, but
once Gray found out he begged convinced him to actually attend his classes.
Jax had insisted that it had been his own decision to go to class, but Gray knew that Jax
didn't want to let him down. The two are actually in a band together. Jax was the one that
suggested that Gray should join his band after noticing how much playing instruments helped
him relax. With a bit of coaxing, Gray accepted the offer and was named the lead guitarist of
Jax's band. So far, it's only the two of them, but they're working on getting more members to
join. Jax hopes to one day tour and sell actual albums, but Gray always reminds him to have
a backup plan for the future. That doesn't mean he doesn't daydream about record deals,
large crowds, and fan signs too.
