How do they find confidence in themselves?
Grand star Kidd Kylann is the host of the well known game show "Lipstick Lesbian", a title that has nothing to do with the show itself. The title came from an old nickname Kidd had as a teen, a name most people knew him by, so when his career began hit off he created the game show under his old nickname to show he wasn't insulted by his teenage cover, but rather embraced it.
Being on stage, Kidd learned quickly that his anxiety often got the best of him, once so badly they had to cut to commercials in the middle of one of the games. Trying to find a way to boost his confidence, he looked for answers in magazines, blogs, friend advise and even counseling. After months of nothing seeming to work or help, he thought about just cancelling his show until one day, while performing the opening act of shooting rainbow confetti into the crowd while being lifted up from under stage on his podium, he realized how great he felt in the presence of the strangers.
The more and more he thought about it as the days passed by, the more his anxiety backstage diminished. The kind and excited cheering boosted his confidence more than he could have ever imagined; he enjoyed the love he received and all the fan mail. It didn't take Kidd very long to realize that the cheering and acceptance of his fans brought him the confidence he was striving for.
