1 extra;; Named after one of the many Greek words for "flower", Evanth has taken a liking to Greek Mythology. He finds it fascinating how the God's each ruled over a certain element of the Greek lifestyle. He prefers to spend most of his time doodling Poseidon, his favorite Greek God, while otherwise being head first into an educational book. His lust for learning and exploration fuels him to go and explore different cultures. He feels a strong connection with his surroundings, and is very attentive. Despite his formal speech patterns and his reluctance to call his friends anything other than "acquaintances", Evanth is often fun loving and a joy to be around. Nothing can stand in the way of his optimism and his readiness to delve into the heart of a volcano. His favorite foods include blueberries and.. not much else. He loves the smell of a campfire, finds the color yellow to be very attractive, and often enjoys the company of the birds. He fell in love with the Bluejay the second he was aware of their existence. He's taken the time to memorize the Bluejay's song, so that he may sing to his blue companions. He's a little self-absorbed.

on the other side of the glass,
there was a field of flowers.

each night, when it was lights out, a lovely blue songrem would peer outside his window, face pressed up against it as he surveyed the sprouting plants: wildflowers that splashed color over endless green, the reeds that pushed out from the banks of a rushing stream -

sometimes, only for a minute, arlen would step outside, his paws against the soft soil, his nose overwhelmed in floral scents. he would lay down, the cool grass a refreshing feeling against his warm fur. but just as his lids would fall over his golden eyes, he’d hear footsteps and huffing breaths.

“sir, you’ll be seen! we’re sorry, you must go inside, you’ll be seen. you cannot be seen.”

and for his own safety, arlen would agree,
and he would go inside.

but he wishes he could spend more time in the daylight, more time breathing the fresh air right after it rains. for now, however, he sits content, three levels above the ground and sitting on an old bed, where he studies flowers - their types, their meanings, their powers.

he hopes one day his knowledge will serve a good cause.

I did have some trouble judging this, So I'll be offering a Ru to Sock., who was a close second, as your artwork was lovely and had such personality, and I thought the frame of a personality it showed was lovely as well~
