The young girl paused and looked around the wooded vale, weary of the thing coming at her fast through the
trees. Her breath quickened with fright, but alas, it was only Kaeden. She nodded to him and swiftly continued on her
way, cautious to stay hidden in the shadows. It was almost midnight, and she had a deadline to adhere to. She finally
made it to the castle, a splendid and wondrous fairy tale come true- literally. She checked her pocket watch. "Right on
time, Kaeden." She said to him. He offered her a wag of his tail just as a girl started down the magnificent steps of the
palace. "Ready?" asked Avery. She tensed and put on her hood. "Go, Kaeden!"

The wolf ran towards the girl, methodically springing at her on the final step and successfully knocking her over.
He whipped around and snarled at her, delight in his eyes as she screamed and promptly ran towards her gold covered
carriage. Avery dashed to gather prize: A lone glass slipper. "That mindless girl will never be a princess if she's afraid of a
little pup such as yourself." Avery looked at her friend with glee in her eyes, something he eagerly returned to her.
"Quickly now," she started. "Before that foolish prince comes to look for his girl." The duo went off as quickly as
they came, with hardly a sound made and a precious treasure to go sell.

Surely you've read a book before, and felt like you were in the story itself? Like you knew the characters and were living in their world? Imagine if you actually could, though. For Avery, she doesn't have to pretend...

...She just grabs a book, places her hand on the cover, shuts her eyes and suddenly, she's in the story! And best of all, she can bring a friend. Almost always, it's her wolf plush Kaeden. She doesn't have many foxer friends, and those she does have don't know all the details of her talent. Besides, how many can say their stuffed animal can turn into a real living, breathing friend? Not many I imagine, so I don't blame Avery for choosing him.

𝕒𝕓𝕠𝕦𝕥 𝕜𝕒𝕖𝕕𝕖𝕟:

Kaeden is her lifelong friend. The small thing every child has when they grow up that they take everywhere and do everything with. However this 'lil guy will stick around long into adulthood! He comes quite in handy when Avery runs into trouble in her stories, especially with what she does.

It all started when she was reading her first story ever, a picture book of the poem "Hey Diddle Diddle". She was reading it to Kaeden the plush, but only made it to "the cow jumped over the moon' before she started to doze off. She suddenly heard voice she didn't recognize. "Go on Avery, I want to hear what comes next!" Startled, she opened her eyes to see a small wolf cub in front of her. The little foxer's eyes opened wide, his markings looked like Kaeden! Only then did she realize it was night now and there was a cow soaring high over the moon, a little dog laughing off in the distance, and a fork and a spoon running away together. It was truly the start of something beautiful.

As Avery has aged, she's lost some of her innocence along the way. She's stolen the rose from Beauty and the Beast, she's stolen the pixie dust from Peter Pan, all of Jack's stuff he's stolen from the giant upon his beanstalk. Naturally the girl's made enemies in her stories from the things she's done. She needed the protector that Kaeden was to become. Not as big but twice as sly as the big Bad Wolf, Kaeden keep away evil doers from hurting his best friend. He's especially helpful during her deals with rogues and muggers, a little intimidation goes a long way in these parts!
