You can keep your great balls. I am very sorry about the mistake.

Normal pokeballs have a 3 in 10 chance.
Great pokeballs have a 5 in 10 chance.

This means that you would need to roll between 1 and 3 to catch with a normal pokeball and between 1 and 5 for a great ball.

It is not fair to have used multiple great pokeballs and 'change your mind' or 'make a mistake'. I ask that you treat all pokeventure users fairly and will get off with a warning, Sᴏʟ.
