How would you gain it's trust: Salem is a creature who believes respect and trust comes with proving your worth; through perseverance and strength. The only true way to the win the trust of this volatile and emotional creature is to validate your courage and loyalty in her eyes- to prove yourself a companion worth having, one who will not waste her time. This generally means a lot of patience, a lot of resolve, and just as much spirit at the young pony. Unless you are obstinate of the most radical definition, you likely will not be able to win Salem over- however, to those select few, those golden individuals who are able to prove themselves in a tourney of wit or passion or valor, the reward is priceless, for Salem is a companion worth having, and once won, her friendship cannot be returned.
Personality: Salem is a spitfire, a born rebel, someone who lives to defy stereotypes and mundane judgements. She is intense and vehement with emotions barely held in check; she has no filter, and absolutely no control over her wild temper. A creature of passion, Salem feels everything very strongly; she gets utterly absorbed into the happenings around her, and everything affects her on a personal level. She has an opinion on everything, and they tend to be wild and strange with an origin of her heart, instead of following the archetypal "yes or no" part of everything. Salem has a completely unique view of the world, something one wouldn't understand unless they took the time to explore her mind and manner of thinking; which, considering her prodigious trust issues, is hard to do.
