She prefers the practicality of having a tool on hand in case it's needed, something she would be much more devastated upon losing compared to a simple piece of jewelry.

Her sea green eyes stand out against her two-tone neutral colored skin which drove her taste for hunting for things similar to her most outstanding feature. One evening she was out and about hunting for knickknacks to hoard or trade until she stumbled upon something gleaming in the late rays of honey colored sunlight. It was a yellowish flash she saw before she followed her nose and discovered a green stone tied to a dark red leather woven strap. It was a necklace that a human had dropped wandering through the woods, now lost without an owner. Ash quickly claimed her newest treasure and wrapped the trinket around her neck to where it fit snugly. Now, every where she wanders and roams she can always see herself within the reflection of pale green stone and admire the stones beauty alone just as she admires her eyes.

Explanation: When Mica was younger, her grandparents loved to travel and would often tell her all sorts of stories about where they went. Little Mica listened to their stories with both awe and sadness. She wanted to travel the world too, but of course she was much too young to be going off on her own. Not wanting her to feel left out, Mica's grandparents started to bring her gifts from the places they went; she wasn't old enough for long journeys yet, but in the meantime they could bring small piece of the world to her.

One such gift was a shimmering green stone from India. Mica was left wonderstruck by it. Her grandparents of course told her what it was—an aventurine stone. But young Mica, in all her excitement, misheard the name as "adventuring stone". Mica wore that stone everywhere with her, insisting that it was her good luck charm and would keep her safe (so you can stop worrying now, mom!).

As the years went by, Mica eagerly welcomed the chance to finally go out and explore the world herself. Time changes many things, but one thing that never did change was Mica's love for her adventuring stone.

Turns out, bloodstone is one of the less common birthstones for March which is when she was born. With all of these tied to the stone, she just couldn't care for any other shiny stone and now only covets this gem.

Leopardskin Jasper
Explanation: She has a love for anything spotted or dotted. However, that isn't the only reason she takes such a liking to leopardskin jasper. Daniya is a jerk and likes to scare trypophobics. (people with a fear of small, clustered holes or dots). She actually tripped over the first peice of leopardskin jasper she ever found, bruising her nose. She was about to angrily toss the stone when she noticed the pattern. Showing it to her trypophobic friend, she found that it bothered them. Ignoring her bruised snout, she borrowed her grandmothers stone tumbler (i forgot the machine name ovo) and polished the leopardskin jasper. Daniya collects it, and many of her friends know this. She has a 'WARNING: DANGEROUS TO TRYPOPHOBES" sign on the door of her room, due to the sheer amount of the common stone that adorns every blank space of her den. She also likes lotus flowers and honeycombs, but since jasper doesn't smell like.. anything really, it takes priority over the others. Daniya is basically the anti-trypophobe. Daniya is claustrophobic, and the stons makes her feel calmer for some reason. The pattern of spots soothes her. Like I said, anti-trypophobe. She's terrified of caves, and prefers to buy her leopardskin jasper off of ebay or etsy instead of actually mining it. Oh, the joys of finding an underpriced gemstone! She's like a hoarder gone insane.

Explanation: Lodolite is often called scenic or landscape quartz, and for good reason. The gemstone typically displays its colors like sand in an hourglass; the fine grains are encased in clear crystal that give the impression of otherworldly deserts and reefs. The exotic appearance of Lodolite has always entranced Guinevere, reminding her of the only places she cannot reach with her astounding speed: the depths of the ocean; and the vast universe above. The dragon adores exploration and the acquisition of knowledge more than anything, so the unknown enthralls her. What unique creatures teem beneath the tossing waves? What life could possibly thrive outside the comfort of the little blue planet? Maybe the mysterious patterns of lodolite could lend her a clue. Thus, until she can touch the floor of the ocean and investigate the vast expanse of space for herself, Guinevere will rely on her imagination; and she will sate her desire for adventure by holding a crystal taste of the unknown in her palm.
