cassidy's speechless story: cassidy had been used, and thrown away countless times until a teenage girl had put her in a plastic box with mr. pinch. cassidy was terrified in the nights, always wondering if she would get out, if she would see the sea just as she did on tv countless times before.

it was upsetting to her that for years that weren't counted, she never saw the warm sand, the foamy salt water of the sea..
but she didn't want this.

she had been stuffed into a glass bottle with a large opening, mr. pinch placed inside as well. she watched as the teenage girl put the cork into the bottle, and once the girl's hands were away from the bottle cassidy quickly noticed the bright sun, the light sand on the floor, the shells, and the crispy cold water of the beach. suddenly, the teenage girl made a jerking movement, throwing the arm with the bottle in hand backwards. cassidy knew this movement from the little kids she used to own to. she couldn't.. she wouldn't-
she did.
the teenage girl had thrown cassidy into the big, blue, open sea, and she threw it far. far enough for cassidy to realize they had a long journey to be had, one that she, for once, hoped would end soon.
countless hours, days, weeks, months that cassidy and mr. pinch had been floating, always both being awake, hoping to find land, as if they were a boat in a bathtub, no land ever seen.. until the one day the sun shined brighter in the sunrise, outlining a palm tree and a plate-like land of sand and plants.
thoughts blurred with happiness, cassidy and me pinch tried their best to make it so the waves could help them get to shore, and just as needed, they had come upon shore after who knew how long. cassidy kicked off the cork of the glass bottle, mr. pinch going out first and helping her out afterwards. cassidy casually placed the crab shadow upon her shielded head due to her hat, both of them smiling.
cassidy dragged the glass bottle and cork into the shade, her shadow keeping rest on her head, sleeping soundly. she finally decided work would be done in another hour, and that first, rest would be required.

after what had happened: after the recent land had been found, cassidy and mr. pinch had found that it was also inhabited by anything but plants, sand, dirt, and small lizards. they had crafted a treehouse in and on a palm tree, wood from the bark of the palm trees making the structure, layered palm fronds making the roof, and two doors were crafted with mr. pinch's claws used as knives.

how the journey effected them on the island: cassidy had learned that losing hope doesn't get you anywhere. you have to believe you can before you actually will. mr. pinch and cassidy had, though, both learned that as long as they kept on helping themselves, each other, and others that they would be able to conquer any quest or adventure that needed to be done.

how both of them changed:
cassidy: cassidy became more thick-skinned, and learned to take care and appreciate what she has. she didn't usually appreciate what she had before, so she took the journey as a lesson. she finally learned to use common sense and logic to all situations resting before her.
mr. pinch: they had learned to always look after cassidy and be so much more than what selfless can explain. mr. pinch still enjoys to tease and make fun of cassidy.

what they do on the island: cassidy regularly goes to the cold, clear water of the beach and simply soaks. she likes to think of it of 'cleansing' anyone's bad deeds from her system, and so she goes there day to day. cassidy is a skilled tree and rock climber, and is able to scale trees or boulders in a shorter amount of time than the average doll. mr. pinch enjoys trimming the grass and tending to the leaves of bushes and palm trees, as if they were their private garden, and it was their duty to protect and keep them clean. cassidy, of course, helps them and carries them up the trees, boulders, or rocks that may need to be climbed to reach part of the 'garden'.

Personality: Sweet, clueless, flirty. Just to sum it up.
Sweet:
She's kind and thoughtful. She rarely forgets dates such as anniversaries and birthdays, and is sweet. I dunno how else to describe.
Clueless:
She forgets things often (other than the before-mentioned) and doesn't learn easily. She often mixes things up such as famous phrases, dates and sometimes even forgets the names of her friends! But not often. She is very gullible and easy to prank.
Flirty:
This was more-so trained in her, not natural. She doesn't always flirt openly, especially not if other girls are around. It's mostly subtle, like hair-twirling and extra smiles. But she isn't looking for a short relationship. She wants somebody she can love forever, and somebody who will love her forever as well.
