Amethyst "Amy"
Have you read the rules?:
Yes!
Character Bio: Amy grew up beaten down every day, not really able to have any friends. She was quiet, and an artist. Shed just sketch in the corner, and not really interact with anyone. So, she was constantly made fun of, and could never find her inner voice. She wanted to show the world someday, she had to. Amy found her voice in 2015, when she sold her first piece for $10000, and was instantly famous! She still loves art, and lives for it.

Name for the Juymara: Ulanni
Have you read the rules?: yes
Character Bio:
persistant - quiet - cautious - calm/monotone - loyal - skittish - motherly - wary- distrustful
Ulanni doesn't know the meaning of the word give up. She just doesn't know when to. People around her think she's far too persistent, that she believes too much. Ulanni knows that it isn't true. She knows that her hope was smashed such a long time ago. Yet still she tries for all she's worth and never gives up.
For all of her efforts though, she doesn't speak much. Growing up in a place where being loud at the wrong time could get you killed, as a child she learned to keep her mouth shut. Even in the new world, she still doesn't trust anything enough for her to speak out. That and she isn't quite used to talking still.
Ulanni has had to keep her emotions under check. She couldn't show her siblings her panic after their parents died. She couldn't show them her fear lest they become scared. Ulanni had to be a rock. She had to be calm. Hold it in. She didn't cry when they died. She hasnt cried since. She didn't even cry when her parents died. Emotions are weakness and she accepted that as reality.
Despite all this Ulanni is still fiercely loyal to her siblings. They mean a lot to her and she can, will, and has laid her life down for them. Don't let her looks fool you, she can be strong and fierce if need-be.
Ulanni still doesn't trust many things or people. She doesnt like those she doesn't know getting too close, for she will strike out. Most other juymaras see her with a nervous expression or a cold expression when they get near her. This is because she doesn't want them near her. She is scared. She will never admit it, but she is.
Ulanni is a motherly figure for most of the kips. She gets along very well with them, especially due to her expertise. She hopes to be a mother one day but doubts it's likely or that she'll really trust someone enough.
As you can tell, Ulanni has got a load of trust issues. For a while after their parents died, Ulanni had to step up. It seemed to her no one would help her. She didn't see everyone concentrating on their own problems since she was doing the same. She didn't consider the family who had lost a wife and mother, she had lost her parents! Who cared if some old grandma died, Ulanni now had to raise her siblings! She was blinded by her grief and loss and it made her who she is today.
History:
Ulanni was a teenager. Simply a juvenile. She hadn't been expecting it. Sure she knew her parents were fighters. Sure their deaths were a high chance. But she never imagined. The day started out normal, like any other day. It was nice out for the warzone they lived in. Ulanni was playing with her brother, the youngest cub. She was just mildly amused, mostly playing to entertain him. Then she heard she scuffling. To this day she hated that sound. Running paws. Not necessarily running, but the panicked way it was being done. Like something bad had happened that was coming for her. Because something bad had happened and it was coming for her.
The group of lions looked tired and were fairly dirtied up. She looked up at them, confused before looking for her parents. She didn't see them. Her eyes narrowed and she got up, ordering her brother to go play with their other siblings.
When they told her the news Ulanni just nodded. She didn't cry. Her siblings would probably notice and come over. She had to be strong. She had always been the shy quiet cub in the background but for right now she had to be strong. After the other lions went to their respective dens, Ulanni pulled herself together and gathered her three siblings around. She told them mom and dad were gone. They went up to live in the sky. At first they cried, not understanding why they were left behind. Ulanni let them. She had to let someone cry if she wasn't going to.
From then on she became more of a mom than a sister. But rage burned inside her. Those lions that had been there when her parents died never came back. They never thought of the teenage girl raising her three siblings who were still confused on the concept of why their parents disappeared. No one cared. And she thought they had. She had trusted them.
When Ulanni did the ritual, she didn't really want to, but had to as her siblings had already done it without waiting for her. From there, although she felt more powerful, Ulanni was more quiet. She didn't blend in with the ferocity the other juymara females had. She stayed away from them for the most part, kept to herself.
- Something about she never gives up
- Very loyal to those that mean a lot to her, fiercely so
- Quiet and calm and motherly, since she had to take care of her siblings when their parents died after they lost the land
- Cautious because of their past
- Very easily frightened, has terribly slow reflexes
*gives in to temptation*
