Himeni was born into a very large family 6 brothers and 5 sisters. She lived by a small bay in a tropical place that she liked to call home. Her and all of her siblings would always go out and adventure in their big forest, they would always find strange animals, plants, or abandoned items everywhere. It was as if they were on a treasure hunt every day! Most of the time as her siblings ventured along the forest, Himeni would sit by the shore collecting seashells, or just playing in the water. Almost every night Himeni would go to the bay and just play around with her powers. She would create beautiful masterpieces with her powers, and would just sit and stare, or play around with them all night.
Soon when Himeni was older she lived further away from her old home and she lived alone. She had a small shack at the other side of town with a hammock and a few other belongings. She didn't have much but it was enough for her to survive everyday and night. In fact she actually quite liked living in her small shack by the shore, it reminded her of her old home as a young Nekohomi. It wasn't that her family died, it was just that Himeni was old enough to move out of the house and live on her own.
A while after creating her shack, Himeni met another nekohomi her name was Izzy. Her and Izzy became good friends, got to know each other and kept in contact. Himeni was living the life at the beach, with friends, and her powers.

Ignis wasn't a normal cat, she had powers, she was different from all of her family because she was the only Nekohomi. Everyone ditched her once they found out she had powers, they thought she wasn't really related to them, they thought that she was just some beast that would kill them with her powers. Fortunately she didn't mind, her family was quite rude anyways so she was actually kind of happy they ditched her. She moved all over, to a desert, mountains, a forest, a rainforest, and almost all over the country. She kept going until she could get to somewhere safe, somewhere she would be at home. Ignis didn't really like the water but sometimes she had to swim to get to where she wanted to go. She was hated everywhere she went, in many different ways, it could have been hatred or fear, anger, or sadness, sometimes it could even be a little bit of both. Ignis didn't normally use her powers unless she wanted to really badly, or it had to be used. Those had to be used moments were, when she was in the dark, when she was in trouble, or when she was in a fight. Many years after traveling she found a small shack at a beach. No one was home so she decided to call it her own, unfortunately there were already two other Nekohomis living there. Fortunately, they let her stay and they all became friends.
