Amato is still a very young doll, and he has much to learn. Amato doesn't look deep into things, or pay much attention to something unless its captured his interest, and because of this he's completely unaware of what others think or say to him, especially other dolls feelings. He doesn't quite get a hint, everything needs to be directed towards him clearly so he can understand and be aware of that, which is why having a crush on him is rather frustrating. Amato really appreciates all the attention he gets, still blissfully unaware of his popularity. He loves to appreciate small things like holding the door open, or asking to help him. So, because of his appreciative manner, many praise him when they get the chance. Many see Amato as an easy to read doll, his innocent like mind, unaware of the depths in his world, but Amato isn't like that. Amato is afraid he'll be outcasted for not liking many of his friends likes. He's constantly reassured that he doesn't have to like the same thing as them, but it's taken him quite awhile to understand this. Amato likes getting things done, and that's 80% of the time. He's very motivated to finish his projects, and surprisingly, unlike most people, likes going to work. He's very passionate about his work and projects, and he even seems to radiate motivation. His motivation makes people rely on him, not in a bad way. Amato loves to lend a hand, cover shifts for coworkers, and keep important promises with them knowing Amato will keep his mouth zipped.

Will that be all?
Favorite drink»
"May I recommend our famous hot chocolate?"
Amato's favorite drink would have to be his own hot chocolate, which he is quite well known for in the café.
Since its cold, or lukewarm, all year round where he lives, his hot chocolate can be drank anytime.
Amato dislikes drinking coffee, soda, any caffeinated or carbonated drinks, so some hot chocolate is his salvation.

Quirks & Habits»
Amato has a bad habit of forgetting his gloves, and forgetting to put them on. The heat and hot vapor from making tea's and coffees, or working in the bakery, can be damaging to his soft vinyl doll skin. He's once forgot to wear his gloves while taking out a batch of croissants and "burned" one of his hands more than the other one, causing it to curl in only slightly. Femi often reminds him about his gloves, or goes and fetches them for him if he doesn't seem to be paying attention, and Amato is very grateful he has a patient shadow like them.
Amato is almost exclusively left handed, he can use his right hand, but he doesn't consider himself ambidextrous, since he uses his left a lot more than his right. Femi has a bad habit of chewing their ears, and sometimes Amato's. If you look closely, both of them have small nips and cuts on their ears. Amato doesn't mind about the nips, but he does get annoyed since Femi doesn't realize what they're doing and continues.

Heres your drink!
"Eh? You want to know how we came to be?"
The quiet rumbles of thunder seeped in threw the un-shut window, the cold wind harshly blowing in, the windows hook rattling fiercely. The theaters basement was cold and damp, racks and mannequins, chests and old music equipment, that was all arranged nicely despite no one being in there for years. No one besides a lone doll. Wobbling around, the doll gently placed its vinyl hand on a broken wardrobe, his joints clicking at the movements. Wearing the ragged dress, he stood up, white eyes examining the all to familiar room. His hair choppily cut above his shoulders, he pushed the strands of loose hair away from his face. A white rabbit made its way to the doll, beady black eyes speaking to him with utter ease...
_______________
"How long has it been?" A gentle voice asked itself.
Capped in darkness, the dark thoughts were nothing new. The same questions asked trillions of times. Questions about, if the little boy would come and take him back, if the little girl who'd stolen him away would give him back.
"Its been far to long..." A new voice spoke. A quiet gasp, of surprise and interest escaped the dolls sealed lips.
"Who are you?" He asked urgently, his excitement chipping away the sad mood. "I am a shadow"
-
"Femi? How long has it been?" A weary voice asked.
"Its only been a few days." The gentle voice responded to him kindly.
This shadow, Femi, has kept put with this doll for days, weeks, maybe years? They'd forgotten the concept of time while enveloped in the lacey cloth. "Have you thought about what I said?" Femi asked. The contract had been put on hold, Amato, the doll, wasn't sure about it yet. "We both wont be able to stay like this forever."
Amato's thoughts lingered, but his answered remained unsure.
"Femi?
"Yes Amato?"
"I accept."
_______________
Amato looked around the room, still clumsy but not trying to make a sound, he searched in the costume trunks, the many colorful suits hanged on racks, covered in dust and holes, their colors drained. The pink dress he was wearing was torn and worn, and wasn't to his liking, the girl who'd taken him had slipped it on him for fun. He wanted his old magician suit back, but surely the little girl had thrown it away from she took him from her brothers grasp. Trying on various different outfits, he'd settled on a once previously white blouse, now yellow with age, with frilled cuffs, and some old worn dress pants. It wasn't as similar to his old magician uniform, but it would do. Picking up a pack of playing cards and stuffing them in the front pockets, he picked up the shadow, holding him gently in his arms.
"Lets go see what the world has to offer Femi!" He excitedly pushed the rusty metal door open.
-
Amato dangled his legs over the building, starring at the plaza in front of the café. He chewed the lollipop in his mouth, the loud crunching settled down once he saw a familiar white rabbit come up next to him. The setting sun slowly hid behind the buildings, the crisp air getting colder as the sun's warm rays disappeared, although Amato didn't mind. He thought about the night he wondered around town, before stumbling upon the café's owner closing up shop. The old man was generous and ushered the doll into the café, offering a towel and a cup of coffee as the drenched doll looked around the small café, and soon then offered a job. Since that day he'd been working in the café, drawing attention because of his colorful hair and magic tricks. He liked the attention, it was refreshing from being alone for a long time.
"Hey Femi want some chocolate?" He asked the shadow, digging threw his aprons pocket "I know we don't need to eat but I like it." he held out a piece of chocolate for the rabbit, who took it generously.
