Hello Joy.

Do you have any idea how hard it is to train a Terrible Terror? Of course you don't, you're a book. So, I'll tell you.

It took me hours to even get near the thing without getting blasted. Overtime I got within six feet of it, it would fly at me and blow fire, but I finally exhausted it fire abilities. Then I had to get to the point where I could touch it. It seemed like it would be fine at first, she looked up at me with sweet, innocent looking eyes and i dropped my guard a little. BIG mistake. The little brat bit my hand!! So, now trying to protect an injured hand, I tried again. No luck. It almost bit my other hand. So I decided on a different strategy. First was distraction. I used my shelled as a mirror and it chases the reflection around for a while, and a tried again. No luck. So, I went on to strategy two. Bribery. I had a bit of tuna with me, and offered her that. She snapped it up and flew off to eat it, soon returning for more, but still nt letting me touch her. I tried carp, mackerel and even chicken to try and convince her to let me touch her, but nothing worked. Finally, I found a bit of dried haddock and offered it to her. She snapped it and began twining around my feet like a little cat!! Finally!! Training will still be rough, as Daisy, as I have decided to call her, has a mind of her own, but I think they we will learn to get along well.

Taming Entry;Riley was out fishing after going down to the training ring. She couldn't wait to get her first dragon! She hadn't caught one yet and she knew it would be able to hunt and catch fish for her and fetch her boots! She needed one! And fast... All these thoughts rushed into her. Her line bobbed. She pulled up her fishing stick and looked at it, *a stuffed bear? Really people... What are you putting in the ocean?* she chucked it into the bush. A scream came from behind and a terrible terror wandered out hazily. "Huh? Omhgoud! A wild terror! Oops..." She didn't want scare it. Suddenly it pounced on the bear and ripped off its arm and stuck it's head inside. It looked really silly. Riley giggled.. The dragon looked up. It tilted it's head. He ran towards Riley. Riley was surprised!? Why had it ran to her? It curled in her lap with the bear in its teeth. Riley slowly and carefully patted it. She took it home and put it on her bed. She grabbed a flower chain she had made and put it on the terrors head, it was made of lilies and a centre rose at the front. *Lily-Rose... That's your name!* Riley smiled to herself as the creature snuggled close to her, [i]and then eating the rest of the Bears stuffing[/img]

Autumn sat down on a log, alone - as always. It was so unfair. Why couldn't she have a dragon? All of her friends had one! Every other kid her age had one and were being trained. Everyone laughed at her because she didn't have a dragon, only because her parents didn't let her. They worry about me way too much, She thought. I'm definitely responsible enough to own a dragon of my own! If I could just find the right species, the perfect species. Something cute. Something cool. Something that will make the other kids jealous!

She smiled slyly to herself and stood up, brushing the dirt off of her pale magenta shirt. But where to look? These woods are full of dragons. She knew exactly where to go, the place in the woods where dragons went to drink - the pond. But how would she get there? With no dragon, transportation was difficult. She ended up going with one of her friends and her dragon, a Deadly Nadder. A beautiful one at that.

Her friend was going to wait with her dragon. Autumn headed off into the forest, feeling butterflies in her stomach. I have to find the right dragon. She had been searching for almost half an hour when she came across a giant tree blocking the path ahead. I wonder what could have done that. She huffed and climbed over the trunk, then continued walking. It was almost an hour later when she heard a rustle in the bushes ahead of her. She quickly and silently rushed towards the bushes, but only peeked through.

The pond lay in front of her, to her delight. And beside it, lapping water gently, was what looked like a Terrible Terror. It's beautiful - the markings, build, everything. I love it. Oh, everyone will be so jealous back at Berk. She stepped out of the bushes slowly and the dragon turned to face her. It lowered its head, looking defensive. She stepped forward slowly, putting her hands out in front of her to show that she was harmless.
"It's okay," she murmered soothingly. The dragon relaxed. She stepped closer and, eventually, had her hand placed on its head. She smiled. But then the dragon backed away. It didn't seem to trust her yet. What does it want? Oh! Food! Silly me.
"What food do you like?" She asked rhetorically, gazing around the clearing. The dragon gave a slight yip when it saw a fly flying past. She smiled again. Bugs. Of course. After a few minutes she had gathered an assortment of dead bugs and gave them to the dragon. It ate them up in one mouthful. She laughed. "I think I'll name you Tulip."

Despite her obvious preference for attention rather than food ther is one thing that she will chose over the petting of any hand. Mutton. Yes this delicious meat makes Tessa droll more than a night furry over fish.
