My favorite gemstone is...: My favorite gemstone is rose quarts, because I remember my grandmother giving a bunch of them to me anytime I got to see her. She lived far away, so I only got to see her on occasion, and she always brought this pink crystal that was just so beautiful. I still have a bunch of rose quarts in a drawer in my room, all from my Mamaw.

Short Personality: Despite being small, somewhat weak, and a little (a lot) bit timid, Kiva has the heart of a protector. She has a need to help and care for everyone, whether they be on good terms with her or not, and tends to forget about the fact that she needs (and deserves) to be taken care of too. Thankfully, Kiva's good nature and bright personality make her hard to forget; the rest of the herd is always keeping an eye out for their little sun.
My favorite gemstone is...: garnet. It's not particularly interesting or rare, but it's by far my favorite. (I tried to look up some stones for this, but kept coming back to garnet.) When frequenting the local natural history museum as a child with my grandparents, I remember adoring the room with all of the stones and metals. The case containing the red gemstones was the one I was always fixated on the longest. For whatever reason, the garnets were my favorites. (I actually used to wish that I had been born in January instead of September. For this reason, receiving things with my birthstone in them for my birthday tended to be slightly disappointing.) I've remained attracted to the dark, red-orange stones, and for almost two years now have worn a ring with three garnets in it every day. It's comforting and familiar; the rare days when I forget to wear my ring are just never as good as the days when it's with me.

Short Personality: Quake is a rather clever boy who enjoys learning new tricks and helping his humans with their work. He also enjoys teasing other dinos, although not the meat-eaters. He often thinks about how he would go about outsmarting a predator but he is too afraid to actually put any of his plans to the test.
My favorite gemstone is...: I don't know if it is my favorite gemstone since there are still many that I don't know about, but while I was looking them up I found a picture of some Larimar and I think it is very pretty. It is a type of Pectolite and although Pectolite is fairly common this blue variety is only found in the Dominican Republic in the Caribbean.
