the number i was thinking of was 18
as for what it was based on, it started off being based on the grab hands from kirby and the rainbow curse (since thats their namesake, because the original translation name for grab hands was "glovers". and it seemed like a fitting namesake for handcats :p)
and then i accidentally added elements of other characters from that game bECAUSE DANG IT I LOVE THIS GAME
things like the beret and the tail colouring come from claycias design
the white and black stripy bits (such as on the tongue and the feet) are kinda loosely based on dark crafter
...but if it wasnt loosely, this glover wouldve just been a colourful mess, so thats probably for the best :B
