Bat reasoning; Edgar likes the security the bat provides for him. I mean hey if people see him walking around with it, they're probably going to think twice about trying to rob him or something right? And that's okay with him, because he'd rather be left alone. And what better way to do that, then to scare people off right?
Personality; Edgar is actually not a mean guy as one might assume at first. He's a quite guy who enjoys being alone. Scaring others off makes him feel a bit better, and he has nothing to worry about when he does that. Despite his appearance and his bat, he's pretty nice. Now that doesn't mean he'll bend over backwards for someone, but he won't turn down someone who needs his help. He enjoys eating sweet things, and often will hide away to eat them in peace. Especially cookies. Sleeping and rainy days are his favorite things, and he enjoys watching the rain fall outside. Not too fond of the cold, he has a tendency to stay indoors an grumble about the cold on those days, just casually sitting in front of the window, holding Slip and cuddling under a blanket. People probably think he's crazy, but does he care? Not at all.

Bat reasoning; Zoerth uses the bat for show and tell smash. The bat is generally left uncleaned as a threatening sign telling people to back off. He especially doesn't like anyone getting close to him. He uses this bat as a way to wrd people off.
Personality; Zoerth naturally doesn't care for anyone unless he is close to them or they are someone important to him. He generally doesn't like people near him or around him for that matter. He prefers to keep to himself and dislikes other people as stated before. He hates large crowds and usually is found in alley ways or on his couch watching movies. Believe it or not below the surface of this tough guy image he has a very soft heart and is extremely protective. Once he find someone he likes and they grow closer to him eventually deciding to date them he can be quite the flirt.
Zoerth generally drinks when he is bored or is in company of his friends and enjoys activities such as walking or hiking alone.

★Bat reasoning; Jarett was a common victim of possession, that is...When he was alive. Ever since he was a kid, spirits were drawn to him. Jarett's family history explains a lot of his odd life. His mother was a witch, his other mother a necromancer. Needless to say, the 23 years he lived were surely interesting ones.
But anyway, back to the possessions. Jarett was taken over by quite a spectrum of demons. Some with good intentions, some with horrible, evil ones. As he got older, they got more powerful. Especially in his late teen years, when Jarett went through a rough period of gender dysphoria and depression. This is when Jarett was introduced to Odysseia.
Odysseia was the strongest of Jarett's possessions. It fed off of Jarett's anger, fear, and pain. And Jarett was miserable. He lived 5 years with this demon before he decided he had dealt with it long enough. He went to his mothers, begging for them to do an exorcism. With a demon of this power, it was highly dangerous to preform an exorcism. There was a very slim chance of it being successful. But his mothers saw how much pain Jarett was going through, so reluctantly they agreed.
The exorcism's objective was to trap the spirit of the demon in a weapon that was used to take the life of another being, since Odysseia was a demon of wrath. (So, Jarett chose a bat that his necromancer mother used to kill her projects that got too out of hand.) The exorcism was indeed successful...for about 5 minutes. Odysseia's strength possessed the inanimate object, and did away with Jarett, banishing him to hell. It is said his mothers haven't been seen since.
He now lives in the deepest circle of hell, battling the demons of depression and grief,saving mortal souls from creatures like Odysseia before they can reach earth.He keeps his finest enemy the closest of all.

★Personality; Jarett is undoubtedly hardened by his experiences. He never really adapted his own individual personality because of his possessions. Most of the time, he is aloof and quiet, but if you find a way to pull him out of his tough shell he is a very charming and hilarious guy. (And though he is a creature of hell, he is very polite!)
He is still ruled over by Odysseia, but has learned to control it. He has bad days where it seems his shadow is talking for him more then he is, but he is strong.
