Sorry if this seems early for some of you, but is it the 11th here, and I am going to announce the winner!
And the winner is...
...
...
...

.The Bootless Box.!

I really liked the story in the form, and the art that was there, and although your form was a wip I feel you deserve this girl c: Congratulations!

    trust him with all her
    heart and would never
    ever try to disappoint
    Tamaki. She tells him
    everything and loves to
    spend time with her
    adoptive father. To her
he is her dad, and she has
    no idea she's adopted.

    She might one day but
    that wouldn't change how
    she feels about Tamaki.
    She loves his stories about
the stars and to get him to
play with her. Rue is in
    every sense a Papa's girl.
[ how it began ]
-in anthro form-

A single mother worked hard on this super and was frying some shrimp as a final
touch on dinner as her daughter played up stairs. It'd been two months ans a new
home since... The woman didn't want to think about it as she fixed the shrimp
onto the plates, besides it was her little girl's birthday, that's what she told
herself as she set the table.

All of the sudden she heard a bang and her daughter scream, fearing the worst
She forgot everything, panicking and grabbing a knife as she ran up the stairs.
"MOmmmy!" She heard as she raced down the hall and came to screeching halt
as she entered the room. "Get away from her!!!" She screeched at the figure
looming over her crying toddler. She flew at them with a knife in hand, she
screamed "Go! Get out Ruby! Run!" The little girl stumbled out, crying and
clutching a stuffed bunny with her. The toddler tripped and fell in the hall just
in time to hear it get quiet. Her mother had been wrestled to the small bed in
the little room, the figure huffing and gasping for air. "Mary, it's me... It's me"

The woman gasped and struggled before looking the man in the face, it.. it was
her husband? He went missing for 6 months, even she had given up hope when
the cops found his wallet in that field. she moved two months ago, how was he?
"Sean... How?" She asked as he stepped back and she dropped the knife, the little
girl hiding in her mother's room, still clutching the bunny.

The reunited couple embraced and she called out. "Ruby! Darling come here!
    It's okay now!"
The toddler slowly came out and in the hallway where her
mother picked her up and she dropped her bunny. She whined, "Bun Bun.." and
the woman picked it up with an eye roll. "This is your daddy remember?" The
family was whole again by some miracle.

They began catching up and the father began to re earn his daughter and wife's
trust, all the while the fire alarms never had batteries put in them when they
moved and little ruby's cake caught fire, by the time they smelled the smoke,
    the kitchen was ablaze.

The family tired to rush out, Ruby clinging to her mother and the father was
trying to shield them from the flames as they came down the stairs. He made
it to the living room behind them as a beam came loose and fell, almost on
Ruby and Mary but he jumped forward and pushed them out of the way, to be
crushed by it, ruby's mother burst into sobs and the frightened girl sobbed as
he mother fell from the push, coughing.

Mary's eyes clenched shut for a moment and she knew she'd re-broken her leg,
it being a healing break and that there was no way she was gonna make it, but
she could get ruby out. she coughed, heaving for air as the flames approached,
she couldn't look back at her husband she just couldn't. The woman hobbled to
the door and barely got it open, sweating and sobbing and coughing as she
crawled, one of the beams had fallen and pushed against the door, so she had to
continue pulling after she got it unlocked.

"Ruby!! Go! I need you to go out this hole now!" She hollered over the
flames, the little girl couldn't go without her mommy. "Mommy Ru Ru scare!"
the toddler got out, utterly frightened and confused, coughing as she said it. The
mother patted her child's head and hugged her one last time before pulling on the
door and pushing her daughter through, there was barely enough room. "Go! Ruby,
    run! Go find help!"
the mother wanted her daughter far away from this, as she
clutched her locket with their pictures and sobbed.

Not far away an astronomer tracked a falling star, and only looked from his travels
when a bright flame caught his eye, he looked to see a house in flames, it's long
driveway empty of fire trucks, he immediately slowed down and turned in, fearing
for the lives of others. He parked and his headlights saw a shape wearing purple lying
in the grass, it sure was little. He gasped and called 911 telling them of the fire and
possible victims, he climbed out, slinging his phone down and using a flashlight to
see what or who he thought he saw.

To his amazement, it was a toddler who had passed out trying to run to a neighbor it
looked like, and he picked her up, glancing worriedly to the house and trying to wait
patiently for the ambulance and fire trucks. "Well let's get you cleaned up at least."
Tamaki said aloud, taking some things from his car and trying to clean the baby's arms
and legs up, worriedly. He'd already made sure the girl was alive. Afterwards the wolf
laid her down and waited, feeling almost in charge and protective of her. Usually he
felt pretty hyper and playful but now he was just worried and protective.

Once the sirens approached he picked her up and then road in the ambulance with the
girl. Soon it was heard that there were two more found inside, they died of smoke
inhalation. The little girl was alright but they had no idea who she was, when you asked
she said Ru Ru. So after months of no one being able to find any Rue's or Ruth's nearby,
and with no relative's Tamaki learned this toddler he'd grown to know and somewhat
protect was to go to an orphanage he was all too eager to adopt her.
