ALBATROSS
fly  away,  little  bird

Username: Arrows; pleased to meet you! I will be trying out for this adorable boy! I have been watching SS for a little now, and tried out for a few dogs. I came quite close to winning one. I am hoping to get into the community!
      ***

Name: Albatross ; Albatross is a type of bird, and in fact a very large and interesting bird. His nickname is Tross.
      Gender: Male
      Breed: Akita Inu
      Age: 4
      Birth Date: January 19, 2011
Personality in 5 words: Quirky, Childish, Silly, Excitable, Friendly
Accessories: Albatross loves to wear a worn read collar. It has a golden tag with his name engraved. He also doesn't mind wearing his yellow frisbee as a hat.
Theme Song: Freestyle - Lady Antebellum
      Art: Headshot Sketch
What does his other side look like?: Head - Albatross' face is white on the other side, except for the black around his muzzle and up to his forehead, and a cream-colored sliver that reaches to his eyes just beside the black.
Neck - Tross' neck is on the other side is white without any other markings.
Chest - This part is near identical to the other half of his chest, except the black half of the "heart" is slightly wider and longer than the other one.
Belly - His belly is mostly cream, but has some white splotches that jut into it. Also, he has a short scar just behind his front leg on his stomach - it is unknown how it got there.
Legs - Tross has long black stockings on his legs, but his back leg on his other side has three small white spots on it.
Tail - On the side you can see, Albatross' tail is white. Well, on the other side, it is cream except for the tip, which is white.
Flank (basically anything not covered) - On his other side, he has a lot more cream. He has one large connected patch that goes from his back down to his belly in a large, blotchy way that covers a large part of his middle. On his hip he has a cluster of small cream spots. Upon his shoulder, you can see a ovalish patch of cream that extends and almost wraps around to his chest.
(I will likely draw it out if I win)
History: It started on a rainy day in January. Albatross' mother was a lonely stray dog on the streets. She gave birth under a bench in a park. Albatross, despite his mother being hungry and weak, was a strong pup, and was her only. The two of them survived together. It wasn't a glamorous life, to say the least, but they had each other.
Finally, as Albatross neared his first year, a young man found them and took them in. They had a good life, for a while. They were safe, healthy, and never went hungry. Tross was an excitable and reckless dog, like most puppies. Life was wonderful, for multiple years.
Then their owner got a job offer he couldn't resist. In Canada. With the current situation, he would be unable to support himself and two dogs in a new place and with a new job. He decided to give Albatross and his mother to Serenity Shelter.
Albatross and his mother reached SS and were immediately welcomed by warmth and kindness. They had many luxuries. Albatross' mother was adopted out, and the two were separated. Tross doesn't mind it so much anymore. Now it's his turn.
      Story: wip

    Congratulations! <3
