Her Favorite Time of Year
Peppermint is a truly a holiday fanatic. Nothing is more important to her then this season, except
those close to her of course. Every year she counts down the days, staying up late at night just
thinking about how it's only that many more days until Christmas. While for a lot of other young
deerserts love holidays because of the gifts, Pepper loves the season itself. How it makes even the
most miserly a little more giving, how people ban together to make the holidays special for those
less fortunate, and how everyone just seems a bit more kind. While she does love receiving gifts
herself, Pepper's favorite thing to do Christmas morning is to photograph her friends and family
opening their gifts so she can always remember how happy everyone was at that moment.
Wondrous
Peppermint sees magic in almost everything,
and therefor has a child-like sense of wonder
that undoubtedly will last her entire life.
Because of this she may seem a little childish,
but that will never bother her because she
knows that it's alright to be a little different.
Kind
To Pepper, the most important thing in the
world is for one to be kind. To offer those
who need it most a little encouragement
and maybe a little love. It may seem small
but Pepper knows that small unexpected
acts of kindness can have a great affect on
those who truly needed it.
Silly
One of the reasons Peppermint remains
the kind little deersert that she is is
because she can let herself be silly.
By being silly and let everyone see
who she is, she keeps herself and
others in the holiday spirit, regardless
of the time of year.

A Deerling's Dream
One wintry Christmas, not so far away
There was a little deersert who went out to play
The cold and the snow where this little one's home
And she always felt safe no matter how far she roamed
But one night she went out to see winter's stars
And in her bright wonder she wandered quite far
The chill came quick and nipped at her nose
And the later it got the more her fear rose
The wind howled and blustered and roared in her ears
Bringing forth all her most frightening fears
Stumbling blindly through the thick snow
She suddenly saw a carriage, but where could it go
She ran to the sleigh, hoping for warmth
When suddenly a man came stumbling forth
He was round in proportions and his nose was quite red
He even had a furry red cap on his head
With a warm smile he put the cap on her head
And brought her back home in a large wooden sled
She woke with start right back in her home
And after that night she never did roam
Without her furry red cap that is.
