personality: Convict was a good boy. And then he came to Manteca Creek, home to quirky and commonplace horses of all kinds. Here met the horses that from then on shaped his personality, and that was that. He has since become one of the most notorious tricksters to ever enter that front gate. He's not allowed to be in the pasture at the same time as Houdini, the resident lock picker, for fear of him running off into the woods instead of trotting around the ranch. There is multiple locks on his stall door, including a combination lock, and when working with him there's always two people to watch him in case one turns their back to him. He likes this reputation though. It's helped him find a legendary group of friends and is extremely entertaining.

mate: Whiskey - Whiskey is a young mare just as wild as Convict is, so it would be easy to see how these two would be drawn to one another. However it wasn't always like this! Convict pursued her for ages, but she really wanted nothing to do with him. Now maybe he wore her down or perhaps she saw the light, but now these two are almost inseparable. what is the best quality in a friend: The capacity to accept you for who you are and not try to change you.
ideas for horse #1: Maybe a horse partially wrapped in wrapping paper where you have to guess the markings? And carrying some kind of holiday treat! Or maybe a sleigh horse! If it's a sleigh horse maybe a flashy looking draft with a generous amount of feathering, perhaps covered in snow?

Maserati - Maserati is probably responsible for teaching this mischievous boy everything he knows. Sure maybe she looks innocent, but Convict looks up to her for guidance. These two are rightfully best friends. Everyone is generally surprised these two didn't become mates since they're so much alike. Or perhaps they almost did....? (Lips of an Angel - Hinder)

Galleon - Galleon is Convict's best male friend. When away from each other these two can barely function. They go everywhere together. Galleon doesn't generally cause trouble, but Convict inspires that inner rebel in him. (Bromance - Nigahiga ft. Chester See)

Bandit - These two treat each other like little siblings, and by that I mean mess with and irritate each other to no end.
