how he became blind: Captain was part of a great war when he was a young horse. The dust and gunpowder slowly caused him to go blind. Explosions near him didn't help either. He was useless when his eyesight was all gone. The soldiers would have killed him, had one of the lower ranking men not smuggle Captain out. He lost his job, but the horse was saved. Captain had a new and better home at the young soldiers ranch.

how s/he became blind: A few days after birth Fen's sight became very poor and he would struggle to see, Eventually his sight became almost nothing and Fen felt alone and sad because he couldn't go and play with the other foals. One day it came back suddenly and Fen ran as fast as he could not noticing the large rabbit hole in front of him he galloped and galloped then fell head first onto the floor, he suffered bad head injuries causing is eyes to not work correctly

He was searching for a member of his heard who got lost and did not find back, and when he followed her track through a field where humans grew crops, suddenly a small plane came flying in the sky over him, opening a hatch and shedding some chemical fertilizer to kill whatever would harm the crops, and though he ran as fast as he could it splashed into his eyes, and in the following days he lost his eyesight - but he is still be able to see some shadows, just enough that he does not bump against unknown things.

Elizabeth had an accident with the barb wire. It was an absolutely perfect day, and who wouldve thought anything could go wrong? Poor miss Elizabeth as alway's is the bad luck charm when it comes to doing anything and it just so happened when she was playing with a few of other foal's she wasnt really paying attention to were she was going, as rambunctious as she is she gets distracted very easily but she ended up running into the wire's and wrapping her face with the wire's and ended up scraping her eye.

How He Became Blind: Sin was quite the wild colt in his younger days, and often liked to show off his pretty coat arrogantly and start up fights. One day he picked the wrong fight with just an equally as tough colt, and, not only did he lose the fight that day - but also his eyesight. While he's still plenty arrogant and cocky, it's to a much lower level. Despite being blind, he still can be quite a wild kicker, and this trait often results in his rider being thrown off or pedestrians bit.

It was a cold winter,the skies were gray and nothing seems to move around,not even the wind that are swirling the snowflakes up and down,only maybe a small cold breeze.Courtney was standing in her warm stable,very bored also,almost sleepy.When she rised her eyes up,she observed the dead silence of the landscape.She was impressed because there should be at least a bird or deer that is serching for some food,some grass left under the snow or anything.Curious as always,she opened the door of her box and goes for a walk.Still nothing around,till she founded a road.A black bunny was sitting in the middle of it.There wasn't any sound like a car was travelling around,but suddenly when Courtney tried to get more closer to the bunny,a car appeared from nowhere,so she ran quickly to save the bunny.The car didn't hit any of them,it just stopped in front of them.Courtney was starring at the car,to see if she recognizes anything,but a bright white light showed and she fell down unconscious.
The next day,Courtney woke up,and for a second she saw a bright light and that nothing,just a black image,realizing she is blind.She was scared at first,but a hand was touching her face so she knew that she was back in her warm box.

how s/he became blind: Born healthy and alive Tiger was a young colt at a neighboring farm. He was bought and brought to Snowy Elk Stables when he was just little under a year old. He was full of life and loved to just cause trouble and terror in the world. So when the colt starting getting sick everyone began to panic. It all started with change in his behavior. His once full of life spirit was now depressing to even look at. He seemed to have no energy and took little notice in the things he loved. Worried he was tested and found that he had come down with equine influenza. At first it was unknown on how the foal got such a virus. Usually this virus can only be spread through other horses and there hadn't been an epidemic outbreak on the farm. But then it was discovered that the barn he was born had had an outbreak and sold the colt without informing anyone of the case. The virus had gotten extremely serious before anyone had time to take notice. He was quickly isolated to prevent exposure to the other horses.The symptoms Tiger had were constant coughing with high fever followed by nasal discharge. Everything to get worse before it got even slightly better. The colt stopped eating and lost a lot of weight. Discharge started coming from his eyes. He was treated daily but his immune system seemed to reject the treatment. Almost all hope was lost as the colt slowly weakened. After the 5th day arrangements was made for euthanasia. But then the foal started showing signs of recovery. He began to eat and show more life in his step. By the end of the second week the foal was almost completely healthy again. When looking over him Tiger looked fine till you got to his eyes. Tiger's eyes hadn't fully clouded over but was slowly doing so. The Equine flu had triggered a case of Moon Blindness in the colt. Sadly this was a common case found in horses. Tiger did not go blind right away. The Moon Blindness would usually flare up and then go away for a few weeks before recurring again. Finally the last attack seemed to be the worse. Tiger eventually went blind.
