Why do you want this finchling?: Well, what can I say ;-; I am bowled over by the beauty of this little girl. I only just discovered Finchlings, and I have to say, they are my favourite species so far <3 October in particular. Her colours and design called out to me the most, and I couldn't resist trying out for her when I looked at her lil face! I don't usually try out for any species designs, but who could say no to these cute kitty birds? ;A; <3333

I've always silently stalked this species, and this design is just adorable, like the species itself! I also own two parrapups, which are relatives of finchlings, so I figured I should have the whole set! I can also see a beautiful personality behind this baby <3

Why do you want this finchling?:I had my eyes set on a little calico plumie. I never really tried on forms, i admit. But that was different. When i first saw the piece of art i was so connected i made the best form in my power(still not very good) and crossed my fingers. The contest closed ad it was up for judging. Soon they annouced the winner. I am still very dis pointed from this experience.

Why do you want this finchling?:
All my life I grew up with cats; a hobby that me and my mother took up and adored. I grew up in the rundown downtown of a coastal city; an area where cats were abandoned,abused,and treated as trash. Kittens lost on the streets were captured and thrown away, many behaved like wild animals. My mother and I resolved to save them; and we set up traps of our owns. However,instead of injuring these little kittens, we took them in, comforted them with our company; and made them loved. After they'd become accustomed to humans; we found them new homes somewhere where they could be cared for.
One day,I returned home from school, my mother telling me we'd found two new kittens. Walking to my room(As,at the time it was the safest area of the house for them to be without having them attempt to bolt out the door); there were two little ones; a feisty little female calico; and a shy little black-furred male.
The male was easy to deal with, he was friendly and loving, but his sister was cruel and mean, digging her claws into me, hiding under my bed, refusing my company; but over time we became the closest of friends.
Whenever I left my room she would cry for me; all day at school she would spend meowing.
When I saw this little finchling; it reminded me of her; my little gizmo; who we've since given away to a new home.Even though I don't have that little kitten anymore;I will always remember her in my own way.
Even though we rescued many cats; Gizmo was the one who touched me the most. The scraggly little feline who was one of the main reasons I am who I am today.
Everyone just wants to be loved;to be happy; and behind even the most frightening,angry mask, anyone is capable of being a friend. You just have to search for it.
I'd like to add this little one into my family of characters; so that I can hold a piece of Gizmo with me forever.
I'm a nonowner when it comes to finchlings; and though I'm usually not attracted to characters with a birdlike quality; this one stole my heart away by reminding me of my little friend; fluttery,fiery, and overall lovely.

I originally did a drawing for the extra;;but I didn't feel that it was expressive enough; so I chose to write a personality instead.

I have in mind to base this little one's personality off of my beloved Gizmo; With a few 'artistic' changes of course.
She is rude; comeoffish, and very difficult to get along with at first glance. She has issues trusting others because of her early life and will make it quite known she doesn't like new people.She is not outwardly violent, just defensive.Many people give up on her, walking away to find something better to do with their time. She's waiting for the one person with a gentle hand who will take care of her, genuinely try to figure out who she is, and be willing to love her no matter who she is. She's a friend to the end, and will never forget her loyalties to those she adores. On the rare occasions that she truly likes someone, she often finds herself attached to their hip; perfectly happy just being near them. She has an extreme capacity for love; for anyone with a mind to search for it. She is extremely curious about life, and anything shiny catches her attention without fault; Sometimes it hurts her; however; as she can end up trapped in window blinds or stuck somewhere.
She is not only protective of herself; but just as protective over anyone she deems worthy of her affections. She would jump to their aid if she felt they were threatened without even a second thought.
