Reasoning behind her name:

I imagine her as trying to fit in and act like a big tomboy in front of others, but deep down she's very emotional and empathetic. The name Aileenah seems to fit that personality well.

One of Aileenah's fake personality traits, when she's with others she'll romp around and disregard anything or anyone just for the sake of impressing her "friends". She even spent the night in a haunted house to be able to sit with the "totes pops" (totally popular) kids at lunch.

Aileenah has many fake personality traits, and this is kind of another one of them. At school she'll talk back to the teachers to fit in. However, she never really gets in trouble because she is a favorite and is very smart. Being smart-alecky is also just in her personality, though. At home she has a whole book of comebacks titled " Leena's Comebacks."

Once she skipped a grade, Aileenah tried as hard as she could to fit in. She started chewing gum, littering, and just being plain not her. Her true nature was getting crushed by her own wish which she could not grant; to be able to be herself, free from the restrictions of society.

The wish of a young girl to be able to be herself, much as Aileenah wishes. The girl's mother was a "tiger momma", always trying to make her be more popular and fit in. At school, she was shunned if she presented an idea to the class; they were jealous of her creativity. She was called the teacher's pet, and had her straight A report cards stolen and ripped up by her class. The girl knew that, deep down, she was special. And it broke Aileenah's heart that her creativity was suppressed. The wish is so big because the girl had so much creativity to share with the world, but could not unless the wish was granted. The paper boat symbolizes the girl sailing over her worries and fears.

what wish is in the jar?

Riva's wish is not the wish of one single soul, but that of an entire family. The family was composed of a loving mother and father, and six children - four girls, two boys. They lived on the shore in a small fishing town, and even though they were never too well off, they always had enough. When the father lost his job, however, he went off on the family's small boat to try and make some money fishing. The family tearfully wished him goodbye, as they would miss their beloved patriarch, but they never suspected something would go awry. When the head of the family hadn't returned several months later, they all began to wish like mad that he would return unharmed. This is why the paper is folded like a boat, as a reminder of the boat he sailed out on, and how they wish it would return again. The jar has to be large to hold all of the emotions of the little family: the love they have for their father, the hope that he will return, the fear that he won't, even the anger that he might have been taken from them so soon.

Riva knows that this wish is very important, and that helps her bare the weight of the enormous-sized wish. In fact, she's rather proud of being put in charge of such an important wish, and often flaunts the oddly-shaped paper as she thinks of ways that she could possibly grant it.

A teenage girl and her six-year-old sister are sitting on the lowest deck of a cruise ship, looking over the edge and feeling the gentle spray of the ocean splashing their face. The teenage girl is just finishing braiding her younger sisters hair, and she smiles and leans back to look at the finished product. "You look beautiful," she told her younger sister. "Tank you sissy!" she grins and hugs her sister. "Can you take a pitchure?" she asked. "Sure," the older sister unlocked her phone, and just as she snapped a picture a big gust of wind knocked her sister off the ship and into the ocean below. "BAILEY!" the older sister yelled, eyes widening in horror. She leaned over the rail to see her sisters head pop up for just a moment. "Millie!" she yelled, before being pulled under again. Millie ran to get help, but her sister was nowhere to be seen. That night, Millie sat under the darkening sky, and wrote a wish on a small piece of paper. I wish for her to come home safely. She folded the paper into a boat, like she taught her sister to do, and set it gently on the surface of the ocean, before turning and trudging back home with tears in her eyes.

Personality: Cora loves nature, all the finer things of life and beauties of nature are an inspiration to her and she's attracted to the mysteries of nature. The wish is for a little girl named Annabelle. Her family is made up of her two brothers, her father, and mother. Her brother, happens to be in the U.S army. This breaks little Anna down everyday. Anna, one night, her mind pondering about what she could do, went to the stars for help. She had wished for her brother safety out there on that big ship, sailing the seas. One of the first stars, whom happened to be Cora, took this wish into her paws. Since this wish is very big, Cora has to keep it sealed up in a large glass container about the size of her, but Cora doesn't mind. The wish is folded into a ship, to resemble little Anna's brother's bravery and courage.

Audrew is a happy, child like first star; he loves to run and prance through the stars, listening to all the wishes children make at night. Some make him happy, some make him sad, but Dorothy's wish broke his heart. He could feel all her emotions coming out at once, the helpless feeling she felt; the anger, the spite, the hope. Despite this, he still retains his child like personality and loves to fool around, sometimes causing trouble but often times just being playful and free.

A child, Dorothy, came running to the door when she heard a knock. She assumed it was her father, who was out at sea. She opened it, just barely taller than the door knob. "Fa-" She stopped, it was her father's friend, not her father. "Oh... hi." She said as her mother came over, letting him in the house. He told the mother the grave news. "He's dead." Dorothy heard, and her mother started crying. "He drowned at sea... it appeared I'm the only survivor... I'm very sorry..." Dorothy looked up. "Who died?" She asked, her big eyes searching for an answer. "Y-your father..." Her mother spoke softly.

"I can help you around the house if you like." Dorothy's fathers friend said. "I'm Samuel, but you can call me Sam, miss...?" "Jennifer." Dorothy's mom started, wiping away her tears that just seemed to continue. "I'm sorr-" "No need, Jennifer. I understand."

That night, Dorothy stayed up at her window, searching for a light. Her face was wet from her salty tears; much like the ocean that her father would never return from. She looked up, searching, once again. "Please, please." She spoke, "Please let me see daddy again!" The little girl cried out, hoping, but alas, tonight she would not get her wish. Maybe another, but tonight, she cried herself to sleep, wishing.
