Username: Hi there! I'm ~Arrow~ and I just had to say this looked beautiful so I just had to try out for it! I have stayed with Arrow for a while and I think if I remember correctly I've only had at the most 4 different usernames over my two and a half year stay on CS. I hadn't actually found out about this species until I saw people looking for tryout art for one of the kitsu's. I searched and then eventually found this place and now here I am trying out for number 50! I am also a non-owner, and this will be my second kitsu I have tried out for.


Kitsu name: Jasmine, which is a type of flower. Some nicknames for her might be Jas, Jazzy, and Jime. She mainly prefers just to be called Jasmine though, and she only lets her closest friends call her by her nickname.



Kitsu gender: Defiantly a female. I can't see her as anything else. I have looked at her when I'm working on my form to see if she could be male but in my opinion it just doesn't seem possible!



What type of environment does this kitsu live in?:Jasmine lives up in the forests in Russia up in the untouched places, usually towards the bottom of mountains, but sometimes just in regular forests. She very rarely stays in forests without any flowers but sometimes if she travels she will stay in places like that for a while. She only likes forests that have naturally placed flowers dotting its floors and trees. It makes her feel good and... She loves the wonderful smell. Jasmine mainly likes to stay away from other kitsunekos but sometimes every 3 years she starts to get awfully lonely and will go down and meet with some other kitsunekos. With her she loves roaming hills, streams, rivers, lakes, ponds, and even just puddles. Being near water is very important to her considering she has plant mutation and plants need water to grow. As I’ve said before she likes living in forests but not just any forests. She likes living in places of what she calls “Rainbow star forests.” These are places where there are forests but the trees are always full of blossoms and the ground is full of never wilting flowers, and flower petals. These places are only seen to her, and they are really there it’s just you can only see it if she is somewhere near you. When she is not there, you are just walking in a regular forest that has a couple of flowers dotting the ground. It has to have a decent amount of flowers otherwise she can’t see it. So when she is traveling and she is just in a forest with very few flowers she can’t transform the forest into a rainbow star forest. If you’re wondering why she calls it that is because when she transforms the forests there’s all types of different colored flowers, so it looks like thousands of rainbows. That’s the “Rainbow” part of it. When she says “star” it’s because when she looks up she can barely see the sky, so the flowers look like stars, quiet, soundless, and beautiful. She prefers to stay in areas that she can have RSF (Rainbow star forests) but a lot of times she cannot have that, especially when she is traveling. Sometimes if she has to she can produce flowers and make a RSF but she prefers not to since it doesn't have the same effect.

Why does this kitsu have wings? Some might think it’s weird that she would have wings, but she can’t fly with them. But Jasmine loves her wings for many reasons. She really loves fluttering them, and moving around the air so the flowers, and petals flow around through the ground. Sometimes if she flaps them enough she can even make shapes out of them, which she loves to create. Another reason she has wings is because they just help her. For one she can flap them and then blow the wonderful smell from her RSF into the world. The more she flaps her wings the farther the beautiful scent of flowers flow. A lot of times on special days for the humans, like mother’s day or Valentine’s Day she will blow flap her wings the whole day, so the special ladies can smell that smell all over the world. At times her wings can help her scare off stuff. Her wings aren’t extremely small but not extremely large either. So if she feels threatened she can spread out her wings, and usually if it’s an animal they will run off. She has admitted before that she is extremely proud of her wings. Jasmine thinks they are beautiful, and yet helpful. Another thing that helps is that she can reach stuff a bit easier, like fruit, and petals with her wings and then knock them off. With helping, and just being beautiful and making her look better they shape stuff. For example if she needs to cross a lake or a river she can either part the water if it’s not too deep or find some stones to cross over while flapping her wings so she doesn’t get wet. Most people do not understand her reasoning of having wings until they have actually seen her in action, so when she has people over or she is visiting people she likes to show them what her wings can do.

Jasmines personality: Well you could say here personality and just quick words but that's boring! The 10 words that describe her the most would be Artistic, Kindhearted, Gregarious, Reliable, Industrious, Upbeat, Tidy, Clever, Adaptive, can be moody sometimes, self-aware, and thick-skinned. When she is being artistic she usually paints or makes shapes out of stuff with her wings. Generally she is always kindhearted to those around her especially people that are passing through since she doesn't see very many people up in the forests. Gregarious, meaning she is very sociable, also tells a lot about her. She loves to talk to animals, humans, other kitsu's, and even the sprites, and wind spirits. Jasmine is very good at knowing when it is a good time to talk or not, which is a good thing when you don't feel like talking. She can kinda feel it, as she has told me before, when people are in the mood to talk or not. A lot of times animals will come to her, telling her they need some help. Being reliable helps her be more sociable, and being more sociable makes her feel better. Upbeat...? Defiantly! Happy is always something Jasmine trys to aim for, especially in the morning when she can be grumpy. If you see her den you can tell she is tidy. She keeps everything need and clean as well as her words, and usually mind. Being clever is better then being dumb is what her mother always told her so clever it is! Jasmine is extremely smart but she doesn't like to show it. It makes her feel rather uncomfortable, a habit she has had since she was little and she can't break out of it. Like I said she moves around a lot if needed so over the years of her traveling she has become adaptive to the environments, places, and things. Moodyness... the one trait Jasmine hates the most. She can be rather moody at times, especially in the winter when you can't travel far and she has to stay inside most of the time. This is defiantly self-aware and knows what her thoughts, feelings, and abilities are. It bugs her when people point out stuff she already knows because is self-aware. And last but not least she is thick-skinned meaning stuff doesn't get at her to easily. When people do it over and over every time she seems them then yah, it starts getting at her but otherwise she is pretty thick-skinned (or furred.)



The history behind Jasmine: Jasmine didn't have the best history so she try's to hide it from others. Finally she decided to speak up and share her story with us... As a child she had no parents. She was by herself. At age 2 her parents where gone, and she never knew where. Some people told her it was because her wings where cursed, others said they had died. She was never really sure what happened with them. So as a young child she had to learn to fend for herself which was hard. Her wings obviously weren't very big so she couldn't always use them to fend off others so she learned instead how to hide, and boy was she good at it! She didn't have as much flowers on her when she was younger but she had enough so she just looked like a patch of flowers. Since she never had parents to teach her who to trust or not she didn't trust anybody. It could take somebody over a year for her to fully trust them, and most people didn't stay that long. Gradually as she grew older she came to trust others more, and she is then became her true self. As for writing, reading, math, and all of the regular things she never knew how to do math. Friends, and passer byers would sometimes stop and help her with writing and reading so eventually she learned how to read and write, but math, she could never figure out. Finally on her 10th birthday she gained all of her flowers and her wings grew, and she could make RSF's. It was amazing to her, and that's when she started traveling as well. She's been all over the world after her tenth birthday. She fully grew into herself that day, and she's stayed like that now.
