Personality ★
Many would think Altair is a goofy, shining guy. Instead, he is actually quite logical. Altair has a very literal mind and he is quite blunt. This mgh won't hesitate to tell you what is on his mind, even if it means telling them to give up all hope and accept a possibly unfortunate fate. Honesty truly is his policy and it also means he is a very bad and inexperienced liar. the only time he will lie will be for others safety. And even then, it makes him feel guilty and bad. That is why he tries to convince himself that manipulating the truth is completely different and totally acceptable. While not entirely lying, Altair naturally changes what is reality into a different story. This can be annoying for those who are stupid enough to trust him but it makes Altair a brilliant story teller.
He loves to tell stories, especially about the Greek creatures that roamed the earth. Because of his name's relation to greek mythology, Altair feels very connected to his stories and speaks very passionately about them. He is a knowledge seeker and is constantly looking for more things to learn, especially when it comes to mythology and the galaxies.

While Altair is sociable, he can be a little full of himself and tends to think his dazzling coat makes everyone love him. Strutting around, Altair gets snappy at those who try to put themselves higher than him and tends to bite off more than he can chew. However, all it takes is a good scolding and some intimidation and Altair will retreat to being the sociable, talkative guy he is. A bit of a flirt, Altair sometimes tries to court females but it's not often serious and he afterwards laughs it off. Humorous and tolerant, Altair doesn't mind taking a joke but if things get physical, Altair can get quick riled up and tends to act impulsively. This can end with him in trouble and that is why it's so important for him to have friends who can steady him down when things turn against him.
Relationships ★
"I don't really know that many hyenas but I have briefly spoken with Astria before. She had a large, three headed male with her at the time but he and I didn't seem to get along so I don't think he counts. Other than that, I don't know many others."
Preferences ★
"I don't exactly hate or love anything, but I like a lot of things. Stories, painting, singing, swimming and sleeping are particularly good things I like. I also like the darkness, 'cause then I tend to look a-may-zhing. I do dislike some things, such as being pushed around. I am not some rag doll you know. I also don't like rejection, worms, burned cookies and sun screen. I mean, with all this fur, sun screen is entirely useless. Though I can't say I've ever been sun burnt...hhhmmm, I wonder why that is..."
Fears ★
"My very biggest fear, my largest humiliation is that I have Astrophobia. I know, it makes me want to curl up and hide...huh? You don't know what it is? Oh, well, it's a fear of space and celestial places. I know, a hyena like me should want to go there. But it scares me so much. To be out there, nothing to hold onto, nothing to see but distant stars, no hope of ever getting close. I can't believe it.

When I'm on the ground, I love the sky, but the thought of going there makes me feel nauseous. I also have Atychiphobia, which is the fear of failure. To get someone's hopes up then send them crashing down because of me is just as bad as my Astrophobia. I am ashamed because of it."
Ambition ★
"I want to become the best story teller ever. I want people to hear my voice and be transported into another world, one of my choosing. I was hyenas to sing my name to the sky in praise for my tales. Is that so much to ask? "
Why I Want Altair ★
Why must I fall in love with every mgh? Anyway, I love anything that glows, as you can tell by my custom aha. I also tend to like things with darker bases, then the glowing markings which is why I glued to him so quickly. I also thought he had a lot of personality by his design. And when I began this form, I just found that there was more and more I wanted to add. I think he is a bit like me in personality and allowing him to speak Spanish is also a bit of me. Everything he says in that language will be purely out of my own knowledge. As well as that, I just think he's absolutely gorgeous.
