▶ I love making cute birthday cards ^V^ So here is how you do it;
First you will need some paper :3 Two sheets, fold both like a hamburger
aka into a card, if you do it the wrong way you will know because the paper
will be long and skinny like a hot dog bun not a hamburger ^^
▶ Next take one sheet, and a ruler, measure about 1 to 2 cm away from the edges
and mark it(on the crease you folded) with a tiny line or dot. Now take a pair of scissors and cut on the dot
or lines, after they are cut stick the scissors in one of the holes and cut along the crease of the fold to the other
hole you made.
▶ Now take the uncut sheet and make two lines or dots at the same length as you had previously done, now instead of
cutting along the crease, cut from each end to the hole on that end. Next you will take this sheet and put it through
the other sheets hole in the center of the creases fold. You should get a little four page book looking card :3
▶ Next step, think about the person whose birthday it is. What is there favorite sport? Music? What is their hobby? Have you
got it in your head? Good ^V^ Now I want you to get their favorite color as a piece of ribbon, measure it out to the length of the crease. Cut and past it on the crease when it is opened up and fold it place it on a hard surface and put a book on top so the ribbon stays in place and dries. When it is dry, take the card and write Happy birthday on the front, make it as fancy as you want but keep the colors to shades of their favorite color and/or that color with a paired color.
▶ Now as you open up the card, think of four reasons why you love this person, or why they are your best friend/close friend. On the back of the cover write, Do you know why you are so special to me? or Do you know why I love you?
On the next front and back pages write a simple sentence/paragraph stating the reasons you love them! Keep going until you reach the last page, here write something like "This is why I love you/This is why you are my best friend"
▶ Decorate the inside pages with colors/stickers/pictures of you and the person together. Keep it personal, so the person can feel all their emotions flooding back to them! Now the back cover, write, "No one could ever love you more than I do/No one could ever replace you as my best friend" And make that decorated page the most meaningfully decorated!
▶ Now place it in an envelope and send it on its merry way :3 to please the birthday boy or girl !

Use paper to make a small, yet long streamer like piece. Fold this piece up back and forth until it is a small square. Then, write 'To a special person' or whatever you like and then write a series of sentences such as; 'Something tells me it's a special day.' and 'For someone very special.' on each of the faces - Hold the square with the open end facing you and flick the paper open so you know where to write. On the last one, write happy birthday or stick on a googly face or something. I think it's a good idea as you can make it really personal, creative and well thought out. Funny ones with pictures on each face are really good too!
Not really hanging around here anymore~ You can find me on
deviantart though

cute, unique birthday card idea:
Gather some clay in colors the birthday person likes (I recommend Fimo brand) and choose your base color. Roll it out evenly and take a cookie cutter shaped like something the recipient likes, or even more generic like a heart or flower. Now bake it! Once its cooled off, take your other colors and begin to decorate it. Add detail to shapes made by the cookie cutter (such as flower petals or adding a nose/eye for a dog) or just make your own designs up! Don't forget to leave space for a "Happy Birthday". Now bake it again, or in-between decorating steps if you'd prefer. After it cools off and you're finished with decorating, turn it over and write a message in Faber Castell Pitt Artist Pens. Give the pen a few weeks to fully dry and then seal it with Varathane. Wrap it in some cute tissue paper, ribbons, stickers, etc and you're all done!

Cute, unique birthday card idea- You could take they're favorite video game, or tv show, and base the card on that. Like, Doctor Who, for example. Make the card look like the TARDIS and on the inside write, "You're birthday's bigger on the inside for me!"

Congrats! I decided to make something from clay ^______^

Ah yay thank you so much! <3 Can you add me when you get a chance?
I'm glad I was able to help as well! I hope the birthday person likes it. ^w^ I used that technique for a Valentine's Day card for my boyfriend a few years back and he loved it.
