'Gharrah

Kilgharrah never gets involved with things that don't concern him. Though he may be a good friend, and he may care of how things end up, he won't help out when things are tough. Most of the time 'Gharrah comes across as a grumpy old boy who doesn't really care, as most of the time he grumbles when he speaks and doesn't get very excited about many things, but when he's happy or excited it isn't easy to misinterpret or overlook. He enjoys feeling the wind under his wings more than anything else in the world, and yet feels more comfortable when his feet are touching the ground and he can use the power of the earth's nature rather than while in the air.

The one time I get involved, is the one time I regret it all

In the dark of night, the winged creature was barely even a darker spot against the star-lit sky. The brisk air covered his wings like an icy blanket as he flew beneath the full moon to the destination which remained unknown even to him. The young dragon-sima was simply flying for pleasure, but what he didn't know is that it'd end up being much more than that. He was going on an adventure. So on he flew with only the light of the moon and stars lighting his path, not a single other living being in sight. But of course sight is only ever an illusion, it's merely a trick of light. For what cannot be seen is still there, do not let sight deceive you as it did to 'Gharrah this night. So here he was, flying peacefully through the night, when suddenly, out of nowhere (Now, please keep in mind, this creature didn't actually come out of nowhere, it did indeed come from somewhere. Though where, is completely beyond my knowledge) a giant beast tackled the dragon. This beast, the Mnyama if you will, is a winged creature and master of camouflage. A creature even a dragon-sima wouldn't want to encounter. Kilgharrah, startled by the beast, quickly started plummeting to the ground at the speed of a bullet. He fought off the Mnyama, but the beast took a piece of his horn with it and disappeared once more into the night, using the tricks of light to it's advantage.

Kilgharrah snapped his wings open once more, coming to an abrupt stop in the air before continuing on. Now wary of his surroundings, the dragon-sima kept both eye and ear open, keeping all senses honed to keep track of everything around him. "I never get involved in things." The sima grumbled. "But now it seems I've got no other choice." He dipped his nose to the ground and dove downwards, landing swiftly, his claws sinking into the earth. "Come out, come out wherever you are, little beast." Kilgharrah growled, his voice tensed with anger. The Mnyama, who had been following him the entire time, relinquished the cloak of magic surrounding him, revealing himself to 'Gharrah once more. The dragon-sima glared into the endless darkness that served as the Mnyama's eyes and snarled. The beast still carried the broken horn in it's jaws. When the Mnyama dropped the horn it rolled noiselessly across the dirt a few feet before stopping in front of 'Gharrah, just a reminder that he had now lost half a horn. Scowling angrily, the sima let out a draconic roar and charged at the beast.

Now, I won't go into detail, but the fight continued on. Kilgharrah 'won' so to speak, though both sides came through the end with some bad scars as proof of what happened that night. And as the dragon left, a smug smile tugged at his lips, though if he could go back and change it all, he would in a heart beat. For the one time he gets involved is the one time he regrets it all. There is never any doubt that he will never go on a dangerous adventure as long as he can help it.
