this lovely is called Avis. it is a Germanic formed and the meaning is unknown, although it may have meant 'desire'. I picked it simply because it was a pretty name and it stuck in my mind with an image of this Foxerfly.

Avis' talent is helping the organisms in the forest prepare for the winter and waking them up when the snow begins to melt. she has a home in an old tree that has rooms for smaller animals that were unable to be ready in time for the frost, such as wounded birds. Avis tends to plants as well as animals.
