Name:; Cooper
Gender:; Male
Personality:; Cooper is a happy little fella, though he doesn't understand many things and tends to regard a lot of things with wonder. As such, he is easily impressed, and tricked.
He is rather quiet, though that doesn't imply he isn't mischievous, oh no! He loves all little things that could be seen as either playful or annoying, though he doesn't mean any harm, and get rather upset if the other does.
He is easily distracted, tending to forget about something if he see something as small as a butterfly. It's irritating for him when he remembers.
He has trouble wording things, and tends to get frustrated when he can't get something out so he will just walk off. Though there are times when he will get the other to follow him, to show what he means.
Art:; (Unfortunately, I didn't get the comic done. I will be sure to do it if I get him.)
"Yes, what is it, Cooper?"
"Saw it go down."
"What?"
"Err.. below.." Crinkling his little nose, he glared. Though not aiming it at the other otter, it could have been easily mistaken. He took a deep breath staring a few seconds before scampering off. Why didn't he understand? It was a object, a nice one. He hurried to the water's edge, looking into the clear water, to the bottom of the stream, there it was, it shimmered in the water, copper in colour. His eyes shined as he thought about the little circle. Licking his lips, he pawed at the wet surface, which resulted in ripples. His eyes went wide, watching them, pawing again, he laughed. He had done this before, but it was just so cool! The way the water moved...
"I know!"
Running off, he carried a leaf back with him, sliding it into the water, he positioned his paw before wracking it down, making a splash! Shaking the water off him, he growled as he didn't get the desired effect. Why didn't it bounce with the water? Staring into the surface, he noticed a shine... the object! How could he forget?
"AGH!"
He stomped around the edge, it was a little deeper then he felt comfortable going, but no one understood.. Sighing, he stopped. Well, if he wanted something done right, he had to do it himself. Jumping into the water, he began towards the bottom. He knew he couldn't go as fast as some of the others, and wasn't as agile, but... mentally shaking the thoughts from his head, he tried harder, pushing himself to his limits.
Reaching it, he scooped up the item, transferring it to his mouth. Feeling relief he got the it, he was pretty happy. He swam up, looking at how the sun reflected off the water, it almost looked dreamy.. Wait, he was getting closer, right? Kicking harder, panic began to show in his eyes. Oh! Why did he try this? Feeling weaker, he was forced to slow down. What if he couldn't get to the top? What if he died?
Screaming inside, he began to feel his eyes droop. No! No no no... no...... no.
His eyes stayed open only long enough to see Polaris driving in.
"Hey.. you gave me a scare."
Cooper coughed up water, feeling really weak. Smiling in relief, he began to close his eyes again.. Wait, did he get it?! Opening his eyes, he looked around, panicked. He had to have gotten it!
"What? What is it?"
Ignoring the other otter, he tried to get up.
"Whoa, easy there.."
Gently pushing him back down, he pull out the object from behind him.
"This what you looking for? You were wrecking your jaw holding onto it."
"Yes!"
He smiled as Polaris handed it to him, he study it, happy with his find.
"Thanks." He muttered, staring at it.. you know, it really wasn't that pretty... Getting up, he cocked his head, an idea planting itself. Yes... Happily, he began to throw it, trying to catch it in his mouth, though was "accidentally" a little to close to the water. It fell back into it.
Looking to Polaris, who had started to leave now that he knew Cooper was safe, he cried for him. Looking desperately at the water, which still had ripples, he began to cried softly. Worried that he would try to get it back himself, Polaris turned back.
"I'll get it."
Cooper watched as he jumped in, already laughing. It wasn't that bad for the big otter, who loved to swim, but it was highly amusing.. Starting off the edge, he ran off to the trees, the copper item laid on the shore, what he had sent the otter in for was a pebble.
