~Tempesta (Tempa)
Gender:
~Female
Personality:
~ Tempa is a Mysterious character, she has difficulties trusting others and always seems like she has something to hide and even when she doesn't have something to hide she still has a air of mystery about her, she make others curious. People gravitate toward her. He often finds herself in bouts of infinite speculation and What ifs. She can be called the queen of misdirection and red herrings.she is quite are aloof and often difficult to get to know on more than a surface level. If she feels it is needed to intentionally hiding information, she may mislead or lie to keep her secret. But once you get past her shadowy outer shell its easy to see why she is so reserved, she is a very confident creature but often finds it easier to just be alone then fit in with others. She has a gentle heart and once she makes friends she tends to keep them.
Story:
Tempa's paws played over the dry parched earth, sending clouds of choking dust up around her heels and belly. In her mouth, clutched between her powerful jaws was an enclosed scroll. the message within would save her family and tribe. The intricate cold casing clicked against her canine teeth as she ran. Her pale coat blended into the desolate sand dunes around her.the sun beat down against her pale back and the heat that rolled over the lonely sand dunes made sweat cling in her coat. She was growing weaker and weaker by the minute, but she would not stop, not even to rest. There was no time, if she delayed it could cost her family their lives.

Tempa stumbled when a sudden brutal wind send sand pelting into her amber eyes. she yelped, momentarily blinded by the microscopic stones. The scroll slipped from her teeth and rolled down the side of the dune she stood on. Tempesta's heart fluttered at the sight of the scroll resting among the kernels of golden sand, it gave her a sense of fear and urgency. she scooped it up in her jaws once more as her feet suddenly sunk into the sand. it was a strange feeling, as if the desert was going to swallow her whole. she struggled against the sucking sand,it had a different feel between her toes then normal sand. she felt herself sinking deeper and deeper till it was past her belly. this was when she stopped struggling. she had been warned about quick sand, stories of wanderers swallowed by the desert in pits like this one ran across her mind. she dropped the scroll. A deep pit of sadness filled her heart as it too began to sink. It vanished before her eyes. She had never been so alone before. she rested her chin on the surface of the quicksand, it clung to her fur making her feel heavy and sickly. the sun had backed the surface enough that the gentle pressure didn't crack it.

She let her mind wonder back to her home, the cool fresh rivers and playful trees. her family seemed so far away, like they were already gone. The deserts lull had began to sink deep into her body, her tong was so dry in her mouth she often found it difficult to swallow and she choked occasionally. When it wasn't stifling hot in the day it was freezing in the night. her body had began to turn against itself by the third day and her mind was stricken with terrible sun visions. she would see shapes that weren't their or faces in the sides of dunes, and when she slept her dreams were fitful and terrifying. she began to believe she would die, she knew she had failed and that if she did die her family would join her soon, but this thought was unbearable even in her weakened mind. she was just about to give up all hope when a shadow fell over her face.

She opened her now pale golden eyes, too lifeless to belong to any sort of living creature. before her was a face; the sharp pointed features were masculine but still somewhat friendly. She didn't recall being pulled free of the quicksands unceasing grip, or the water that was dribbled into her mouth. but when she opened her eyes she felt grateful for the stranger. He had a kind smile and many interesting stories that kept her entertained as she grew stronger. And as she grew stronger, so did her feelings for the stranger. but she knew she couldn't stay with him, her family was still at risk. Tempesta left him to continue other endless journey, she didn't know where she was heading anymore or what she would say to those that greeted her once she found it. The hopes for her family spurred her on, while her affection for the kind stranger seemed to pull her back like some sort of burden. she cursed her careless heart and turned into herself...

~Years Later~

Tempesta stood before a great monument, its paws lay before her and its face towered over her. It was like something she had seen in her dreams while she was stranded in the desert. She stared up at it with her bleak golden eyes, the suns rays licked at the face of the great god like figure, making it appear to skimmer like gold. She took a few steps forward to find herself no closer to it then she had been before. A voice rang out and she turned to face it. I figure stood before her, its elegant stance indicated its gender. The Fae indicated for Tempa to follow her through an endless maze of tunnels that led under the monument. "He has been expecting you for some time Tempesta" the fae said in a silky voice. Tempesta's heart pounded as her mind raced, if 'he' was still expecting her then it might be possible her family was still alive. She picked up her pace to keep close to the other Fae. the narrow tunnel suddenly opened into a huge catacomb. Its dome shaped roof seemed impossibly vast to be real.

Before her bated in a ray of beautiful sunlight stood the stranger. his face wore a saddened expression but his eyes were the same, kind and gentle. She scolded her fluttering heart at the sight of him and hid the sudden wave of emotion from playing across her face like pain on a canvas. She stared for a long moment then spoke firmly. "I have lost my Message" she admitted miserably to him, even though he already knew that. He nodded "I know what it said" he said softly and took a step forward "The message wasn't for me, it was for you, it was from your family" he spoke like a teacher to a favourite student. "it said 'The difference between who you were and who you will be is a dream'" he paused. Somehow he was much closer to her then before, close enough that she could see deep into his eyes. they were a pale grey, like his coat "So keep breaming Tempesta" she was breathless as a gust of wind swept down the tunnel and past her. she closed her eyes like she had done when the sand had bitten into them and when she opened them, the stranger was gone, and so was the fae. She stood alone in the catacomb the sent of dust clung in her nose like tar. She was alone again, like she had been her entire life.

She stepped out of the tunnel and into the battering wind of another lonely night on the desert. but this time she wore a smile, her golden eyes were bright with determination and a deep mystery. it wasn't that she had succeeded or finally reached her destination, and it also wasn't because she had seen the stranger again. The smile was the result of a dream, Her dream
