    Name of the Mutato:
    Sakana

    Reason for choosing the name:
I choose Sakana because it means fish in Japanese, and this name sound adorable,
and cute when you say it.
I checked and only the Japanese language,
    to English for Fish,
suited this one, the others was really weird and it also says 'Fish' as well.
    Anyway,
this is fish-theme so that is why,
I looked up in different language,
    and typed in Fish,
and see if any is suitable.

    Poem about fish:
    Image
ALTHOUGH you hide in the ebb and flow
Of the pale tide when the moon has set,

The people of coming days will know
About the casting out of my net,

And how you have leaped times out of mind
    Over the little silver cords,

And think that you were hard and unkind,
And blame you with many bitter words.

Hello! I am ♪ Symphonia ♪

Owlnitf. (Owl-night-if) with a nickname of Owl.

I grew attached to fish I used to own, sadly they were Betta and not Koi, named Flow and Flint. We had them in different tanks, since one was female and the other male and we didn't want them fighting or having babies or whatever, but U liked them both a lot. Flow was a blue color, with darker fins. Flint was gorgeous, with a an off-white, almost the color of the scales on the tail of this Mutato, body and dark blue and purple on his fins. He was really pretty.

So anyway, I rearranged some of the letters in both the names Flow and Flint to come up with Owlnitf. (From Flow I took the O, W, and L, and then I took the N, I, T, and other F from Flint.) It's definitely unusual and something that came to me, but I think it would suit the little mutato. As for making the nickname Owl, well his eyes remind me a lot of an owl's bright, wide eyes. :)

I also felt I might just say that my Aunt and Uncle have Koi fish, and they are truly stunning. I really hope for a nice Koi pond of my own one day, they are just really peaceful and bring about a nice feeling. :3

A poem about Koi fish...
I call it Endless Beauty. It is by me :3

Moving gracefully through the water
Endless different patterns
One would see no fish odder
Yet as perfect as the Koi

So watch the fish swim fast
Or maybe they'll go slow
So many kinds to contrast
But every color flows

Each one has its own beauty
All different color spots
So pick your favorite cutie
You'll surely love it lots!

Name of Mutato: Fuji
Fuji is so calm and peaceful looking, just like the mountain that is his namesake.
Swimming in a pond so still,
A little fish of orange, black, and white,
such grace and beauty,
in no other fish around.

Hi, I'm Raising Cain, but you can call me Cain.

I chose Kawa Koi as a name, because in Japanese "Kawa" means river.. He is named after rivers because he is calm, and goes with the flow. He is only rough when angry, and when he is, he is very, VERY rough. "Koi" is because he is like the fish that swim in ponds, silent and moving.

Through the water like a knife.
Silent and graceful.
Deep water.
Glinting like silver in the
reflecting light.
They look up,
as a little boy watches.

Kawa lives in a hollowed out boulder by the lake. He goes out daily for a swim, and likes talking to the fish. There's nobody for miles.

Art. HORRIBLE!!

"Well Hello." *smiles and waves* "I'm Grengirl, you can call me Gren for short many of my other CS friends do. I have two other Mutato 'Lil and Eliza and I'm sure Kaimu Takaya
will get along great with them!

Image

The name I've chosen for this Mutato you ask?

Kaimu Takaya the first name meaning 'Ocean dream' and the second meaning 'Respectful one'
He will likely just go by Kai for short.

The reason for choosing his name too? ok. :)

Kaimu Takaya often dreams of the ocean waves and thinks he may have come into being near the ocean but can't remember and is quiet and respectful by nature.

The colours of koi symbolize different things like, friendship, and success but most improtantly family. Kai tries to live up to this symbolism. He is shy and peaceful but also friendly treating his friends much as he would family and he tries to help them achieve sucess of thier goals.

You wanted a poem about fish Koi?
Nishikigoi

Liquid karma seeps into our cuts
The density of blood is defused by courage
The sun sets in our arteries
and the moon grows with each heartbeat

Sometimes I forget that no one has felt this before
That exploring the unknown comes with a price
And like a giant drowned in ant hills
I am lost in things too small to comprehend

A star lost amongst the infinite sky
A koi struggling against the never ending tide
You are the priest caught in a fight
finding your true self amongst unsuitable affairs

And all I want
is for you to know
I'll be by your side

A short story about where this Mutato lives?
Ok I'll do my best to describe the place, I only hope I can do it justice.

Kai has chosen a home in the same area as 'Lil and Eliza while thay each live in trees Kai has chose a place near an abandoned human farm. He thinks the building was once a shed and has been patching it up to help keep out the rain. He chose this place not because it was convienient but because of the pond. He had happend along the pond by accident and it had forever changed his life.

A deep dark blue pond with fish swimming about in it. He had paused here to gave upon the fish when he realized that thay were Koi! Once very comon but now excedingly rare. 'well I'll be.' perhaps even
Image
whispering it aloud. He decided to stay so he could look after these rare fish who's symbology had been his guide as long as he could remember. He stayed an hour more just ghazing at them circling about the pond. The nearest suitable structure was the rundown shed so he started that very day patching it up. His golden eyes glittered as he gathered moss and twigs. His long tail twitched happily. He had found his home.

Early the next morning he made his first new friend as he awoke to see another pair of golden eyes peering at him curiously from the trees near his new home, He had never seen another Mutato and was briefly stunned. As the moon rose later tha night she joined him beside the pond again and brought another Mutato named Eliza. He finaly had friendships and maby even family Kai nearly wept from happyness, his life had been lonly and empty before finding this place. He pledged to stand at thier side and that of the Koi that had brought them togeather.

Hello, I'm PeachFuzz, but please call me Peach! Nice to meet you <3
The Mutato's name is Niwa Ike.
"Niwa Ike" means garden pond in Japanese.

A pond
Sparkling and clear
My hand slips into the cool water
I touch the slick body of a fish
Scales brush against skin
Through the water the Koi fish glide
Each scale reflected against stones
Sunlight dancing over the waters
A splash alerts me to one single fish
Bright orange and white
Dancing in the air
For one single moment
It feels almost magical
And then the smack of it's tail
The fish disappears

+Name of the Mutato
Praeclara A.K.A. Clara ("brilliant" in Latin)

+Reason for choosing the name
I chose the name Praeclara because it means brilliant in Latin. I always liked to think of fish scales as being brilliant, or really shiny. Water and fish scales tend to reflect light, which makes them so bright and pretty. c: I thought brilliant was a good word to describe fish scales, especially koi, since they're so pretty.

+Poem about fish
Our shadows bring them from the shadows:
a yolk-yellow one with a navy pattern
like a Japanese woodblock print of fish scales.
A fat 18-karat one splashed with gaudy purple
and a patch of gray. One with a gold head,
a body skim-milk-white, trailing ventral fins
like half-folded fans of lace.
A poppy-red, faintly disheveled one,
and one, compact, all indigo in faint green water.
They wear comical whiskers and gather beneath us
as we lean on the cement railing
in indecisive late-December light,
and because we do not feed them, they pass,
then they loop and circle back.Loop and circle. Loop.
“Look,” you say, “beneath them.”
Beneath them,
like a subplot or a motive, is a school
of uniformly dark ones, smaller, unadorned,
perhaps another species, living in the shadow
of the gold, purple, yellow, indigo, and white,
seeking the mired roots and dusky grasses,
unliveried, the quieter beneath the quiet.

yukiko ["happiness; blessing; fortune"]
Common Japanese female name. The meaning varies depending on the characters (kanjis) used to write the name. The syllable 'ko', mark of the feminine, is chiefly written with the character for "child". 'Yuki' may be written with the character for "happiness; blessing; fortune". Other possible combinations for "yuki" include: "help; assist" (yu) and "hope; beg; request" (ki), "snow" (yu) and "garment; clothes" (ki), as well as "journey; going; travel" (yuki).

Image
she is beautiful, regal [purple and gold being regal colours] and embodies the koi fish [which i adore],
so to have this special little mutato as my first mutato would be a blessing,
and would make me so happy. so, I have named her Yukiko

Image
Image
Yukiko, in this rapidly deteriorating world, has found something ancient and serene; something that she loves. Yukiko has found a koi pond. This little mutato has made her home there; among the stones, the moss-covered statues, the small, once-cared for trees and old wooden bridge. There is an overgrown path that leads to what was once an imperial house, now broken and forgotten. Yukiko doesn’t go there, she doesn’t need to go there, all she needs is her pond and her koi friends; watching over them, caring for them, as happy as a little mutato can be.

Life is so stressful i hear you say,

there must be a way to survive each day.

find a way, find a way

Come to my garden i will show you how

to de-stress yourself and do it now.

there is a way, i'll show you the way

Sit by my pond and have a good look around

take in the sights, the colours and sounds.

this is the way, you've found the way.

Watch the fish so majestic and graceful

let their peace and serenity fully embrace you.

find a way, this is the way

Take a deep breath and exhale in the glory

of watching these fish, its the start of a story.

find your way, i hope you'll stay.

Now feeling refreshed, cares eased away,

i hope you have enjoyed finding your way,

finding your way to enjoy everyday.

- Denise Murphy (Deekoi)

Hello. I am LoloPuppyLove.

Name:
Chariomi (CHAIR-e-om-e)

Reason for the name:
Chariomi is her name because she says, "You always MUST charish the koi! If you don't, you will loose some of your soul." She loves the fish and won't ever stop. She won't eat fish, nor meat, at all. "If you eat a fish, their brothers will come and find you!" Chariomi hates the snow and cold. I freezes her favorite lake. The lake that had koi. Almost everyday, she would walk to the lake and stare at the ice so she would try and catch movement. She will be in the same spot for hours. Once it is the first day of spring, she gets a hammer and breaks the ice. Chariomi doesn't know that it scares the fish and she needs to come back the next day. Her strong belief in the koi lets her mother know that she is special in a way she can not know. Chariomi has no friends and everyone calls her the fish-girl. Chariomi doesn't care though. She likes them calling her that. It makes her feel special in a way she does not know.

The poem about fish:
She wrote a poem:
I love the koi, and how they swim.
I charish the way, they come within.
i see their eyes, all kind and gentle.
They will never be, crazy and mental.

~Chariomi
