Reason for name:
I chose this name because it is name of a person that I know who has gotten very sick many times. This person is very close to me, and I have helped them through many sicknesses.

When Lydia got sick:
One morning, when my mom woke me up, I felt terrible. My head ached, my throat hurt and every time I mived , I felt like I was going to throw up. I clambered out of bed and half crawled half walked to the hallway. I carried my pillow up against my head, cusioning it from my movements. I lay down in the middle of the hall until my mom told me to go back to bed. Since I had not thrown up, I decide it was safe to go back to bed. I was wrong. As soon as I clambered back into my bed, I felt the urge to throw up. I grabbed my trash can, and well you know what I did. My mom came back with medicine, because the doctors knew what to do. I had strep throat. Again.

Hello! I am raveNew! I am so so excited to participate in this as this will be my very first mutato if I win it!

NAME OF MUTATO:

I have chosen the name 'El Valiente' for this Mutato.

REASON FOR NAME:

I chose the name 'El Valiente, because it means 'The brave one' in spanish. This Mutato is named this because it can withstand anything without screaming out in pain or hurt. Secondly, as i saw saw that one of the themes was a red plaster like picture, it reminded me of the Red-cross society in my country, which is dedicated to alleviating human suffering, protecting lives and dignity and responding to emergencies, so as to build a world of empowered and resilient communities. That again reminded me of the name.

ONE TIME THIS MUTATO FELL SICK:

El Valiente squirmed in pain as he rolled on the floor. 'Geez, i feel dead already...' he thought to himself. He rolled and rolled, trying to reduce the pain but to no avail. Instead, he rolled till the stairs and tumbled down. Bump. bang. crash. He knocked into small flower pots, the coffee table and chairs. Finally after the turns, he stopped. Dizziness crept into his head, and his vision started to blur. The pain ceased slowly and El Valiente closed his eyes, immune to the noise outside.

"El Valiente! El Valiente! Wake up!" a lady's voice yelled in the distance. 'What's going on?' he thought to himself, still blur and dizzy. Delicate fingers lifted him and stroked him gently on the back. El Valiente gazed up slowly. 'Vicki...i'm so glad your here. Im really tired...' his words drifted off into the surroundings as he looked intently at his owner. "El Valiente. hang on! You've got to hang on. The paramedics are on the way. Hang on." i whispered, still cuddling him.

El Valiente was sent to the hosital, and was diagnosed with minor injuries and diarrhea and had to take medicine. "NO! Please, i hate medication!" El Valiente yelped. "C'mon, your 'The brave one' remember? And your afraid of medication? If that's the case. I'll change your name to 'The scaredy one'!" I joked. "Sigh...ok I'll take it." He gave a cheeky laugh and painstakingly gulped down the bitter medicine. Soon after, i let him rest. "You'll be home soon. Really soon. I promise. The next time you wake, you'll be back with your best buddy. Mr. Teddy." I comforted him and he soon drifted off to sleep.

What El Valiente has to say about kiwis:

"Though it may look dull and hairy on the outside, don't underestimate the taste of this beautiful fruit. The luscious green/golden inside with make your mouth salivate. Bite into it, you get the burst of tangyness of the flesh, and tinge of sweetness from the seeds all at once. This fruit will keep you craving for more. Added in all sorts of food, such as fruit tarts, cakes or dip in in chocolate as you will do in Fondue!

Kiwi's add the freshness to a lot of designs, my owner, Vicki, has a ironing cover which has the design of many kiwi's! She also has a backpack, pencil case, pen and notebook all with a kiwi design! We're connected, so what she loves(kiwis), I love them too! That began my love for that wonderful fruit!

Not just that. There's more to kiwis that meets the eyes. Kiwi's have a special strength to me. Kiwi's make me grow, in height. And they give me a special strength and speed. Maybe you could say the strength is like Superman's, while the speed is like...erm maybe a race car? I eat that every single day without fail as it builds up my immune system and reduces the chances of me falling ill. Though there are exceptions sometimes:)"

I chose this name because it means "strong, vigorous, and healthy", and I can see this Mutato being a nurse or healer, and always worrying about other Mutatos over himself
one time this mutato got sick;;
Valentine helps out the nurses at the local hospital, and when he was helping a very sick patient, he caught the patient's sickness and couldn't come to the hospital to help. He was sick for nearly two weeks, and he dreaded every day, and felt useless not being able to keep others happy.

Username: My current username is -Snowy-, but only for the holidays. My regular username is ~Mistyfeather~.
Name for Mutato: Samantha
Reason for name: Well, I have no Mutatos, and at the moment my favourite girl name is Samantha, so why not name her Samantha? And I thought that judging this poor sick Mutato by what she looks like isn't nice, so I gave her a normal name.
When Samantha got sick: Samantha sighed. She was sick, and she was missing school. She was very sad. Now, I'm not saying that Samantha loved school, it's just that at school her class was having pyjama day and just today her teacher was letting her class have the one thing they weren't allowed to have in their classroom; popcorn. Samantha LOVED popcorn. Yeah, sure, she gets to stay in her pyjamas all day and she can have popcorn at home, but would it really be as much fun as it would be at school?
