Greatest Fear: Adrian's greatest fear is the silence. The river he spends his time is has never fallen silent. Or rather, he's refused to think about it. The water babbles over the rocks, tumbles over the falls, and splashes around each curve of the muddy banks that ooze when he waddles across it. The trees surrounding the river sway in the constant breeze, scratching and poking each neighboring trunk. Winter, however, has the finned otter anxious and skittish. It is the silence he cannot stand. The ice clogging the river, slowing the current, frightens Adrian. It is an irrational fear, but one that might make some sense if given enough thought. For such a fun, sporadic finned otter, the idea of no sound-and to some extent, the idea of nothing-blows everything out of disproportion. It's fine, though, because the river Adrian haunts hasn't frozen over before. Yet, at least.
