I chose the name "Astral" because it is to do with the stars and galaxies, and it just seemed to suit this image.

One day, Astral was walking for a change. She usually just flew everywhere, but for some reason, she felt like she would miss something if she didn't walk. She continued along a sandy hill, before she saw something. It was a fence. She soon found a small hole, and crawled through it. Why hadn't she flown over it? Astral thought to herself. Why had she climbed under it? Oh well, she would keep walking anyway. Soon she reached the other side of the tall silver thing, and she was about the go over it, before she realised it was night. Astral was about to find somewhere to shelter, before something cought her eye. Hang on, is that a planet? She thought. It looks like it's been trapped behind this fence, she thought, mystified. She watched the planet for awhile. Then Astral crawled all the way up to an the fence,and what she saw shocked her. It was so beautiful! She was looking at a desert, with sandy hills and cacti! To add to it's beauty, the sun had begun to rise behind the desert hills, making the desert seem to glow softly...

My username is ❥ lเς๏гเςє קครtєlร, but you can call me Lico or L.P. The nicknames developed on WCRPG (Warrior Cats RPG), but I brought them here with me c: I would love for this amazing Mutato to be my first. You may have seen me trying for other mutatoes. (I've tried for 14)

Ah...the name. I've chosen Kaktus, which, clearly, is Cactus. In which language? Czech. Yup, Czech. I studied the Czech Republic at school a while back, and I've been dying to use Czech somewhere. I've tried to name other muatatoes Czech names but they're usually ridiculously hard to pronounce. But Kaktus was perfect.

Oh, haha, I forgot this was in the form. Well, first off, it's in Czech, as stated above. But also...Kaktus is Cactus, and I'm pretty sure you know why I chose Kaktus c; I almost went for something that meant evening or sunset, but Kaktus seemed to fit perfectly well, so I went with it. It's all up to you, I hope you like!

The cool evening was still. A boiling red sun slowly sank away from sight, leaving the sky behind it stained red like blood. Then, from the shadows, something moved. Kaktus, the small Mutato, had woken. Kaktus sniffed the air, pacing. Then Kaktus scuttled across the cracked, dry dirt and came to a cactus. It was thick and green and healthy. But Kaktus was thirsty. Water was a rarity. Kaktus paced in front of the cactus, moonlight shimmering down upon the desert, causing the cactus to shine green in the unearthly glow. Kaktus smiled slyly and slipped away. The Mutato came back with a sharp rock and slowly began stabbing the cactus. It was a slow and tedious job, as Kaktus' arms were so short. The Mutato did not give up, however, and kept going. It was the middle of the night when a small drop of water rolled out, shining like a diamond in the starlight. Kaktus watched as the glittering crystal sank into the ground. Then, with one last jab at the cactus, a stream gushed out and wetted all. Kaktus rushed forward and drank gratefully. Then, a small lizard flicked into sight and jumped in the water. Kaktus recoiled and scampered away. Dawn would be soon. It was like this each night. Kaktus woke. Broke a cactus. Took a drink and saved the other animals. Kaktus, the silent, mysterious, never-found-in-daylight hero of the desert.

i named her sunrize with a "z"and not a "s" because sunrise just sounds plane to me. and I named her sunrize because seeing the new day appear over the cactus is just beautiful. i couldn't think of anything that could tie into outer space as well as the dessert sunrise other than sky but honestly that did not fit.

when Sunrize was nothing but a wee mutato she had a gift, a gift no elder mutato had every seen. The power of beauty. she could turn something extremely ugly to... well beautiful. The other mutatos young and old had wondered about this poor little mutato with such power. her parents wondered about it most of all. why had she gotten this gift? Sunrize was a grateful mutato and help everyone who needed it. she would use her power greatly but one day she came to realize that she did something for everyone else and not herself, she realized that she should make her self beautiful because she was like any other mutato ugly (for the ones she did not grant with beauty) her first time trying to grant her self didn't work instead she accidentally took away her power temporarily, she tried again and now forever she has lost her power, all that is left is a beautiful Mutato named Sunrize.

As a young Mutato she tried hard to find things she liked to do. She tried painting, singing, dancing, and rock climbing. But none of those would do. She tried mining for gems and she loved it! She found rubies, diamonds, emerald, and opal. She choose her name because of her love for Opal's. She at first liked the name Essence but she shortly found that wouldn't do. She was know for her luck in gem finding and mining.
