Her eyes were never there. I prefer the concept that she was born without them.

Parallel can see the world different from that of others. Never having to see it, she was forced to imagine it all on her own. The name Parallel explains how she sees things. The way she comprehends is not the same way you would, (a slightly different and more differed way). She sees things in ways that are different, but gathers what she needs to know what is going on. So it is going in the same direction, (what she comprehends), but never crossing what you see.

Phantom still has his eyes. One day an evil person who liked to `experiment´ on animals took Phantom off of the streets and sewed his eyes shut. Then the person released Phantom out in the streets to see how he would react. Phantom climbed over a fence but it turned out to be barbed wire, causing it to get tangled in his tail.
