Short Story:

A short story I made.

One day, Direwoof was walking up the mountain that he loves to hike up. He saw a squirrel scurry over to a tree down below. Direwoof playfully wagged his tail when he saw the squirrel. He jumped over to the tree and chased it. "I'm gonna get ya!" He said as he chased the squirrel. When he was just going to catch it, the squirrel dashed up a tree and Direwoof ran right into it! "Owch!" He said, rubbing his nose. He growled at the squirrel. Peeking out from the tree, the squirrel was sorry he caused Direwoof to run into the tree and hurt his nose. So, he gathered up some acorns and other supplies to make his own paint! He scurried over to Direwoof and poked him. "What do you want?" Direwoof growled. The squirrel scurried over to his tree to show Direwoof the paints. "For me?" Direwoof said, grinning. "Why thank you!" He looked around for some place to paint. While he was painting, the squirrel took a nap. When he woke up, Direwoof showed the squirrel the picture he painted of him.
