dropping out : )
Quite some time ago, I was travelling with my father; we always moved form place to place cause that's what me ad dad used to always do. He would say to me "let's go meet the world, son" and I would always answer with a lazy yawn "The world's not moving, dad, go back to sleep." he would always laugh and begin the same story about how the world's always turning, and nothing one day will be the same the next. The same number of leaves on a tree won't be the same if the wind blows through them; the same number of birds won't perch on the same branch tomorrow. He wanted to capture each an every moment on earth with his own eyes, but that's impossible, so we'd always just grab as much as we could for one day, and pick up again the next. He showed me many wonderful, and fantastic things. Gotta say the creepiest thing I've ever seen was all the legs on a millipede -shivers- honestly! do you really need that many legs to move around?! I've seen many beautiful things as well; nothing beats the "thousand color storm" as my father would put it. It happens twice a year- once in fall, and once in spring. My favorite was fall, when the cool air whips up through the leaf piles and spins around the beautiful autumn tones of the season. I would chase the storm for miles until the wind fell, but then my dad would point out "How many new things did you see?" and I would reply "Not much"; focusing on one thing I had bypassed so many other wonders of nature and our surroundings. As I grew I was still able to chase my color storms, and observe the land around me. Even when I was distracted by other things I was able to see the events around me like deer bounding gracefully across and empty field, and field mice rummaging around for seeds in tall grass. My eyesight allowed me to see the world in every plane! It was really exciting being able to tell my father about every new thing, or small detail I saw, and he would be really proud of me for seeing things as he knew I could all along. Only thing was...as my sense of the world grew better, my father's...well, it went away. He grew blinder by the day, and soon he really couldn't see anything at all. We could walk shoulder to shoulder through forests, and fields, and I would describe every detail to him; painting him a picture so he could see though my eyes since he kinda lacked his own. One night; something magical happened; something I'd never seen before in my life. A star shower; I struggled to describe this to my dad, but he still smile anyway; gazing up at the heavens through his cloudy eyes. I got the feeling that he could see the stars somehow, I don't know what made me think that; maybe it was the way the grin pulled at his wrinkled lips. Perhaps is was the way his eyes seemed to glow so childishly as he watched the stars fall from the sky; I don't know, but he was happy, so I was especially so. We laid down form some rest that night, but I was still bubbling with energy even after the stars ceased to fall and merely twinkled in the sky. I left my father to sleep and went to get a drink of water; in hopes of calming down with a walk. The stream wasn't too far off anyway. It was on my way there I found something magical. Truly magical! It glimmered, and glowed like one of the stars in the sky. I was able to pic it up, though it looked like it was on fire, and it was cool. It made me feel so tranquil, and calm. I ran back to show my father, but by time I got back to him the glow of the small; rather sweet tasting rock had gone. I was disappointed, but my father seemed to look to me as though something horrible had happened. "My Gray, look how you've grown" he said. My eyes widened- how could he see me? I set the dull star piece down only to realize there was still some more of glowing. It was me! "You can see me dad?" I smiled happily. "As clear as day" he answered with a light chuckle. "Though, you look a little different than I remember, and I can only see the grass around your feet" he said. I smiled regardless, and hugged him. We would continue our travels, and I would be hid guiding light!

υѕernaмe
Hello there, my name is Mikune
Though most go on calling me either Miku or
Mikky I don't mind any of the three.
naмe
Jean. The name Jean just seems to be
rather befitting.
gender
Male
the design itself doesn't give me any vibes
of being female. so male seemed to fit a
lot better then such
reaѕon
jean himself does not glow, but the silk
that has laced his fur from glow worms.
jean was never socially by most and this
lead him to leaving his normal home and
living in caves. his first few days within
the caves towards the entrance, they
were normally filled with darkness. though
as he had spent more time within the caves,
he began to travel further down. Upon his
traveling further down into the caves, jean
had came across a colony of of glow worms.
he was confused and bewilder by the sight,
to the point where he could not and keep
himself up on his paws. jean had stumbled
through many of the hanging glowing silk.
the silk had laced his fur, thus making it glow.
