Hello, this is Gerbilfuzz here, trying for Mutato #278
Goose
For some reason I was thinking of horn and thing-that-go-honk when I was thinking of a name, I couldn't get my mind off the subject, so I decided on Goose for a name. I actually quit like it.
As I drifted off into a deep sleep my mind was filled with stars and mist, I travelled between reality and the world of dreams. This night it was taking longer than usual for my dream to come.
Soon I found myself standing on grass, for a second I thought I was actually awake, and had just been daydreaming about being asleep, but then I looked up and the misty dream essence reminded me that is was not reality.
I tried to fly but for some reason I did not come far off the ground, I merely jumped, then gravity made me return to the surface.
Suddenly my paws began to feel like they were being burnt, the grass melted down into pavement, and a loud New York taxi beeped and skidded, trying to stop, giving me enough time to jump out of the way, people pushed pass me, for I was too small for them to see easily among to crowd, but I pushed forward, until I reached the edge of the sidewalk, I was surprised, it did not feel like a dream, I felt tired and sore and hungry, but when I looked up I saw a nice restaurant and trotted inside, a sign read, "No Pets allowed" and I wondered if that included animals in general, but I didn't have long to think about it when two waitresses rushed to my aid, I didn't look up but could here them fussing over me "Your so cute!", "What a sweetheart" they said and one picked me up. I was forced to look at the other, and was shocked to see instead of a waitress an angel, with light blue wings, a pure white dress, and golden hair. I couldn't help but stare, until she bent down and spooned soup into my mouth, oh how I wished I weren't dreaming, it was the best feeling I had ever felt, a warm fuzzy feeling were I knew nothing bad would happen, I felt no pain, just love, and the soup was so delicious, I don't know how to describe the flavor!
They gave me a small apartment and I went to sleep, when I woke of of course I woke up in reality. Every night though I would pray to have the same dream, and every night it would come.
