From the English word for the day of the week, which was
derived from Old English mona "moon" and dæg "day".
This was formerly given to girls born on Monday.

Why? ;

As said in the meaning/history of the name, the 'mon'
part of 'monday' is moon. And 'day' is of course 'day'.
The top half of the picture for the design reminds
me of a winter day, while the bottom is an up-beat
night filled with fun. I personally think the name
"Monday" suits her well, and I couldn't think of any
other name to suit her.

Her Perfect Date? ;

A simple movie-date. Something funny would make her
happy, and thus being happy with the one she's seeing
the movie with, and creating a nice atmosphere
between the two. After, going to get some dinner or
lunch from a casual place; nothing too fancy, not too
expensive. Simple dates make her happy.
