яєαѕση ƒσя ¢нσσѕιηg тнє ηαмє: When I looked at this Mutato's tail, I saw that fish, and it reminded me of a barracuda. Then I remembered a song by Heart called "Barracuda," and I remembered how much I absolutely LOVE this 90's song. When I looked at the design for this Mutato, it reminded me of the opening scene from "Finding Nemo," where Coral and most of her children are eaten by a fish that greatly resembles a barracuda. The only child to survive is Nemo - hence the title of the film. I really do love this movie; it's funny and greatly entertaining. This movie makes me grateful for the family that I have - even if at times they can be a tad bit overbearing or overprotective.



ωнαт αяє нєя ƒєєℓιηgѕ αвσυт тнє σ¢єαη? Barracuda lives in the ocean, so she knows that while it is beautiful, it can also be deadly. Sharks constantly circling, looking for prey; seagulls swooping down and carrying off anything that gets too close to the surface; octopuses and squid, with the blinding ink they squirt; and spiny sea urchins, eager and willing to poke their deadly spines into an unsuspecting creature. While having a calm surface, what lies beneath the ocean is anything but calm.
But danger isn't the only thing in the ocean - there is also quite a lot of beauty. The colorful plants, the lovely coral - the beautiful sea stars and flashing scales on fish. Sunset is beautiful above or below the water; Barracuda loves staring at the beautiful golden and orange streaks of light as they hit the water, piercing the shades of blue and green that normally fill her vision.
If a storm hits, most everything under the waves remains normal - though there are patches of frenzied activity during the storm, most fish, sharks, and other sea creatures don't even notice what's going on above the waves. The creatures closer to the surface feel the impact of the storm nearly at full-force, being tossed and thrown about by the choppy waves. But the storm always clears, and most sea creatures are back to their normal, daily lives once again.

Barracuda loves the adventure and danger associated with living in the ocean - she also loves how it can turn from a beautiful sunset to a nasty storm in seconds. She loves the ever-changing atmosphere, and simply adores swimming in the ocean's many currents.

~Reason for choosing the name~
This mutato reminds me of the pretty smooth waves over the ocean under the pale moonlight at night <3 Then the color-- oh, the color-- You just made it wonderful. I LOVE purple, and lavender is on my little list of purples! The smooth waves reminds me of the smooth edges of a lavender petal, the beautiful flower letting its wonderful scents drift into your nose <3

~What are it's feelings about the ocean~
The ocean is a beautiful wonderful place. You can do everything-- From swimming to making a sand castle. You think your bored and have done everything at the beach? Think again. The beautiful, smooth waves softly hitting your feet are calling you. You may have done everything in the sand-- dig a big hole, make a sand castle, play volleyball, but have you met the ocean? Have you seen its big, gentle waves? Well, the little lapping sounds of the waves are calling you. The waves are more then you think, they are full of life, and home to many animals. So take a step forward, to the ocean, don't be afraid, it will only start a new adventure.

+what are it's feelings about the ocean: It just loves the ocean and when ever you take him to the ocean he will take his baby blanket and get it wet and smell it, feel it, and swim in it!!!! He is just so adorable in the ocean and he gets soo hyper that he starts joke around with the blanket, chewing it and throwing it and fetching it and finally cover it on top of you so you can feel his excitement! pretty cute,eh?

username: Hello, I am Equinesta. I am a Mutato la' potato non-owner. ;u;

name: I am going to name her Elysia.

reason for the name: I chose this name slightly based on appearance but more on the beauty of the name. It means "struck/blessed by lightning" in Greek. Her nickname is Swift, Ely, Sia, and El. I have a couple of reasons of why I chose this name. One, being that she seemed like the punk, yet a sweet type of lady. Her name truly shows this kind of personality; tough yet beautiful. Two, her tail type. Silly as it sounds, doesn't a little electricity make it seem a little... tough? She is like a beautiful wolf: a pelt so silky and ethereal, but as dangerous as the sun. Her name is quite surreal and beautiful, and that is why I chose this name.

But I feel that the ocean is my home, a place if I would have ever left, I would soon come back to. Ships that pass in the night, and speak each other in passing, only a signal shown, and a distant voice in the darkness; So on the ocean of life, we pass and speak one another, only a look and a voice, then darkness again and a silence. I feel butterflies, a shiver rippling through my body when the water splashes against me. And at night... at night it is the most beautiful.
