I'm gonna name this gem Terracotta, an unusual name for an unusual Mutato! <3


Reason for name:
Well, since it's toucans on the picture i wanted a name with T in it. The Terraotta soldiers is very famous for their different faces among thousands of statues. No one is the same, and thats why i want it for a toucan - No one looks the same. Everybody has teir amazing beaks and it's like the giraffes, tigers and zebras batterns. That's how they can recognice each other. It's stunning.
I really like birds, I've even worked for free at a bird center where you can take care of sick and harmed birds. I've taken care of many birds - even eagles and strm birds! They're so cool! My dream is to hold a toucan on my arm and take a real good shot with my camera. I love taking photos on birts. They're so majestic!

A woman that worked at the bird central runs a parrot rehab. It's a place for parrots that've lost their owners or the owners didn't want them. She takes care of them and loves them. Oh gosh, I love that place and i would want to have something familiar at home... <3
She even trains them and when she says: Knock Knoch
They knochs on the floor with their beaks and kind of says: Whos there?
It's amazing and I've seen it! <3

Name of the Mutato: Zazu!

Reason for choosing the name: Because I LOVE the Lion King and Zazu is my favorite, he is the little bird with attitude and this Mutato looks like he has got attitude! Zazu also is always trying to please his best friend and king and is very loyal and is great!

I've noticed that all the users who filled out the form
so far named the mutato after something toucan
related (for a obvious reason), but I decided to go
for Rima instead. Rima means rhyme, poetry and
anthelope, but I've picked this name because of a
character in a book. In Hudson's 'Green Mansions'
there was a maiden of the South American rain forest
that was called Rima. She had the ability to speak
with animals, especially with birds. I just thought the
place the maiden was from is fitting since toucans
also live there, and the fact that she was able to speak
with birds and other animals is a nice addition, no?


ＷＨＹ Ｉ ＷＡＮＴ ＴＨＩＳ
ＭＵＴＡＴＯ;
This is a very easy question: I love birds. And no, not
just a specific kind or breed of bird, I love every single
one of them. It doesn't matter to me if it's a chicken,
a budgie, an owl or a much rarer breed like a macaw,
I adore every single one of them. As soon as there's a
bird on TV or I see one somewhere online, outside or in
the Zoo, you can expect me to have a squealing fit as
soon as I lay my eyes on them, which is soon followed
by a strong urge to touch it. I don't know why I love
them so much, but I even like the ones any normal
girl would probably think of as ugly, for example the
marabou stork. So many consider hem ugly, but I
think of them as just as magnificent as colorful parrots
or cute, fluffy zebra finches. I currently own two superb
parrots myself, Aristide (or Ari, that's what everyone calls
him since his actual name's way too long) and Lux. They're
only about three and a half months old yet and I barely got
them two weeks ago, but I've already grown very attached
to them. If I had enough time, the place and the money I'd
probably have build a large aviary to have even more of
those wonderful creatures here. However, I should probably
stop talking now, I've said enough, didn't I?

Here's also a bird video which always makes me smile,
especially the ending. The cockatoo seems so proud of himself,
doesn't he? c':

Also, I've already put quiet a few pictures into the form, so I'm
not going to add more, even though I'd probably find a
million more I like to put in here if I wanted to.
