Name explanation:
I chose the name Occasus which means Sunset in latin because my rabbit's name was Sunset and even though he had almost a monotone coloring it suited him; this Mippi's coloring and design reminded me . A Sunset is when the dark takes over the light and the design really looks like the dark pushing into the light.

Why do you want him/her?:
Firstly, I usually don't connect so well with dark coloring and when I saw him, that bell just kinda went off. Secondly, no matter how much I like a design, I tell myself to only enter in adopts that I can connect with; and with this boy, I can see him as a character, I can see myself taking the time to develop a personality that's just right for him. I want the character for themselves, to give them their own personality and bring them to life. I won't make him perfect, I'll make him have a fair amount of negative traits.

When I win a character I try not to enter for anymore until I've developed the one I've won. Before when I wasn't used to entering for adopts I'd always give whatever I entered for a reused personality, so that all my characters would be the same, and I didn't know why; but they all ended up being mary-sueish. So getting help from a friend, we practiced making a realistic personality until I could get it right on my own. Now I promise myself to make my characters have realistic traits and if I notice anything that seems perfect I dump the traits and choose new ones to develop. It's quite fun to go through so many characteristics and to just experiment with personalities. Even though I try not to plan anything out before I win a character, I can see myself having fun and developing Occasus and I can see roleplaying him with other Mippi, getting him friends or enemies and maybe a mate and some kids someday. Most of all, I can see myself bringing Occasus to life.
I'm sorry if I seemed to get off track a bit, it's just hard to get ideas down before you lose them and have them in a theoretical order. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to enter.

✖ The reason I would like to adopt this little lad is because first of all, his dark color schemes. Black and brown are my most favorable colors I have yet to have seen and I like these cold palettes. This Mippi is also adorably cute in many ways more than one, the personality I have for him making him seem immature, using his cuteness to his advantage until he figures out it might not always be this way. Some other reasons is the fact that I attached quickly to the species since it reminded me of a capybara for some reason, a favorite of mine in the rodent species other than the squirrel. Which brings me to the fact that he also reminds me of my dog, Peaches, a Pembroke welsh corgi who loves to pretend like she didn't do anything wrong, steal whatever food she can get, and try to be the center of attention at all times. What else... Oh! He'd be a great role play character and would fit well with my other character, Chronicle depending on what rp I'd be doing. Weiderin would also be a good subject for developing some art skills, such as painting or sculpting seeing as how most people do wolves or more common animals. Hm. That's about it, sorry I couldn't think of anymore. ;n;

when I first saw this design, I loved the contrast in the coat colors. it made this Mippi's eyes stand out beautifully. what came to my mind was that this Mippi really needed a design to express this quality. that's where I decided on the name Alsus. Alsus is a Latin word meaning "cool" and "chill"--a perfect fit to describe how breathtaking this Mippi's eyes are

Name explanation:
Octavian means 'Eight Born', the name Octavian generally is given to those who show a great deal of leadership and power
(coincidentally, this Mippi is more of a follower than a leader), but I did not choose the name for that reason. It was chosen as in a story that I read, there was a black/brown and white piebald stallion, named Octavian, and he's what I imagined him to look like XD

Honestly, I'm not sure. It's pretty foggy outside just now, so maybe that's why. XD He kinda looks like he'd suit the name Fog, but that's probably just me.

Well, for a start, he's downright adorable. <333 . . . Mm, not a very good reason, I grant you. XD Well... The first time I saw him, I thought "Aww, he's cute, but I won't try." Then I think today something sorta clicked. His soft blue eyes, his fur, everything. <3 His design is so lovely and simple. For some reason he reminds me of a Border Collie. *Shrug* the greys and blacks and whites are reminiscent of one. XD <3
