Talons clashed, claw ripped wing, fire melted ice, then froze again before ripping its way free of the confining ice. Ice was clever, but Fire had brute force. Ice knew that a small dragon such as she would have no hope against Fire if she simple fought, so she came up with a plan to win the war. During the battle, Ice formed a small stature of a dragon with one of her freezing breaths, a small hatchling. Fire unknowingly breathed life into Ice's creation as he tried to kill her, irony in itself. Together, Ice and the hatchling brought down Fire. But alas! Ice had been dealt a mortal wound by Fire as he fell, and too lay still soon after the battle was over. The hatchling, finding it could not wake her from this sleep and realizing what had happened to his creator, was mad with grief, unconscionable. For centuries the hatchling had hidden from the world, grieving over Ice. The hatchling had been living off mostly potatoes and other roots until one day the hatchling ate a radioactive potato. The hatchling rapidly transformed until it became... Huǒ yǔ Bīng Lóng the Mutato!

Reason for choosing name: Is is the name for a dragon constellation.
Tell story of an epic battle between a fire and ice/water dragon. Choose a winner.
Once there was a fire dragon named Wildfire and a water dragon named Ocean. The two hated each other because they both loved a female electric dragon, Spark. So the two battled each other to the death above the sea. Wildfire breathed a massive blast of fire at Ocean. Ocean flew downward to dodge and clawed Wildfire's legs, leaving deep wounds. Wildfire roared in fury, and hit Ocean in the face with his spiky tail. Ocean was temporarily blinded and randomly shot out a large blast of ice water in defense and it hit Wildfire in the left side. Since being attacked with ice-cold water is like being burned for a fire dragon, Wildfire felt a lot of pain in his left side. Wildfire flew upwards and attacked with another blast of fire. Ocean regained his sight by now and tried dodging, but the fire burned Tsunami's tail a bit. Tsunami let loose a large blast of icy water, and Wildfire countered by breathing out a huge amount of fire. The icy water hit the fire, and created a ton of steam, making it hard to see for the two dragons. Ocean could just make out Wildfire and before Wildfire spotted Ocean, Ocean flew above Wildfire and let a giant blast of water toward Wildfire's wings. Wildfire's wings were burned by the water, and Wildfire could no longed fly and fell into the sea and died. Ocean had won.

There were once two powerful dragons. One being water and the other being fire. As most fights start, they had an argument. An argument about which element was better; fire or water. Fire was a fierce element, used in battle, and most common for a dragon to breathe. However, water was superior to fire. Water could douse a flame. So, the two dragons argued about this until they started fighting. The fire dragon's spirit shone brightly and the dragon became ferociously annoyed. How dare this water dragon question it's element? The water dragon's spirit was not as bright, but the dragon was clever and had a trick up its sleeve. The fire dragon clawed at the water dragon angrily, but it's claws went right through the water dragon's liquid-like skin. The water dragon laughed dangerously. The fire dragon looked at it's once fiery sharp claws only to see that they were now disappearing. Blast it! The water dragon's watery skin put out the fire dragon's claw flames! The fire dragon roared and released extremely hot flames from its mouth. The fire seemed to start making the water dragon disintegrate! It eventually turned into mist and liquid vapor! The fire dragon had won!

Ryūjin

• • • Wʜʏ Tʜɪs Nᴀᴍᴇ?

I chose the name Ryūjin, or Ryu for short, because it is the name of a dragon
in a Japanese myth. He was a dragon that symbolized the ocean and his name
meant "dragon god". I thought it fit this Mutato very well. ^^ More info about

It was a rather cold and stormy day. Nothing pretty about it, truly. The wind
was growling fiercer than a lion, and the sea was raging. In the distance a
volcano could be heard exploding, and spurts of bright red lava was being
thrown up. You might ask why everything was happening all at once, and I'll
tell you the answer. It was the legendary battle between the water dragon,
Ryujin, and the fire dragon, Kulshedra. Kulshedra was a nasty drake, capable
of performing much fire spitting and able to erupt volcanoes. Ryujin, mean-
while was able to turn water to ice and control the ocean's waves. They were
the only two dragons on the world they lived on. They each shared a craving
for treasure, as most dragons do. They were constantly picking at each other
for the other's treasure for each stash was piles high.

Each encounter was only a small scrape, until this time. A large, shimmering
orb had caught both of the dragon's eyes. It had a blue tint to it and it shined
brightly in the moonlight. Both dragons saw immense value in it and dived to
snatch it before the other could. However they collided. They challenged each
other, glaring into the other's eyes. Neither had seen such treasure as this
and they were ready to kill for it. Ryujin was quick to bite Kulshedra, injuring
her shoulder making it a little hard for her to fly. Kulshedra, however, was not
quick to give up. She slapped Ryujin with her tail, momentarily making him
dizzy and spat fire while she had the chance. Ryujin was burned pretty bad on
his stomach and it was beginning to throb. However, in the after effects of
Kulshedra's fire breathing, he took advantage of her and quickly tackled her to
the ground. They bit at and clawed each other desperate for the orb, rolling
around on the ground. Kulshedra began to claw at his face, but only to distract
him while she gave him a life-threatening bite to neck. Life draining, Ryujin,
laid on the ground helpless. Kulshedra, however, was quick to swipe the orb,
but she was slow and tired from the fight. Ryujin hadn't much energy left, but
he was close enough to water that he could summon it and use it for healing.
Unaware of this, Kulshedra continued with the orb, but Ryujin was now
completely healed and full of energy. He caught up with Kulshedra, running a
large bubble of water around him. He swiped back the orb. Mad with rage,
Kulshedra blew blue fire at Ryujin, but his water bubble was enough to protect
him. Finally Kulshedra couldn't carry out anymore, and Ryujin surrounded her
with water, only to freeze her in place. He was able to finish her off there and
then, with the orb in his possession.

I had lots of fun reading everyone's stories and seeing who picked who for the winner. But the one story that really pulled at my heart was Cobweb's. The story was truly epic! Congrats Cobweb!

I looked for it a million times, but it's not there. Only For Tennis and the title. All my new ones have it though. Really odd. Is it hidden somewhere?
