Mutato's Name
Willow

Why I chose this name
Although the Willow tree looks as if it weeps, it's elegent branches shall always sway in tune with the wind, and provide shade and comfort to those who sit under it.. A suitible name for an elegant Mutato.

A Scary Story..
There once was a family of three.. A father, a mother, and a 4-year-old daughter..
The family went out shopping, and was walking on the sidewalk when they came to an antique shop, the little girl stopped her parents and pointed to a cute doll in the window. The parents smiled and went inside the shop to buy it, noticing that it strangely was holding up two fingers, almost like a peace sign; the parents simply assumed that the doll used to hold something which was now lost... It was not far from the gruesome truth...

❤❤❤

It was the following week that the daughter started to feel as if she was being watched.. She looked around only to see the doll, which seemed to stare straight into her soul. The daughter ran out of her room, screaming and crying "MOMMY! THE DOLLY IS WATCHING ME!" she screamed as she ran to her mother, clinging to her, terrified. The mother stroked the poor little girl's hair and brought her closer for a comforting hug. "there there, it's alright, we'll put it in the attic, will that make you feel better?" she asked soothingly. The daughter nodded and watched from a distance as her mother went into her room and got the doll, which seemed to wink as the mother climbed the stairs so put it in the attic.

❤❤❤

The little girl woke up in the middle of a cold night to hear a crude and scratchy voice. "Little girl, little girl, I'm in the attic," it said sweetly. The girl softly shreiked and pulled the blankets over her head, as if to make it go away. A couple minutes later the voice resumed to scare her, "little girl, little girl, I'm at the top of the stairs" it sang. The poor child curled in to a tight ball absolutly terrified. It simply continued, only a few seconds later "little girl, I'm in the hallway!" it said, it's voice remaining sweet. The girl slammed her door shut, leaped back into her bed, and pulled the covers over her head. The door creaked open.
"Oh little girl! I'm in the doorway!" it said sang.

❤❤❤

The next morning, the parents woke up and called to their daughter, hearing no response they walked into her room. They saw their daughter, laying in a pool of blood, and the doll next to her, holding a knife. They screamed and cried, all at the same time, and quickly returned the doll to the shop. When they saw it in the window, it was holding up three fingers.

username :: mukumuku
name :: astolat
reason :: astolat is another name for the city of shallott, as referenced in the arthurian poem the lady of shallott. this lady is a serious babe. she's not allowed to look at like anything so she uses a mirror (boss) and weaves what she sees with a loom (yeah idgi either). one day she sees lancelot pass and he's super hot so she's all woahhh and stops her mirror weaving bsns which is a bad bad. so she tries to chase after lancelot in a boat cuz shes such a fine lady but she ends up dying. oop. basically this forest reminded me of that one painting of this lady.
story :: okay so this is basically the story of Babycall except scarier maybe. i want to say this is less confusing but it's probably not.

scene 1
Slow zoom onto a crime scene. An androgynous figure with shoulder length hair lies bleeding on the ground while a voice calls out "Anna!" and "Anders!" in a breathless fashion.

scene 2
A woman moves into an apartment with her young son. A couple of social workers arrive with them. The woman is in hiding from her abusive husband, who has tried to kill her and their son a few months prior. The woman asks if she can home school her son; the social workers respond negatively. The father works for a law firm, and if the woman were to be seen as an unfit parent, he could create a custody case against her. She's fairly paranoid, so that evening, she breaks into her sons room and makes him sleep with her for protection. The social workers see evidence of this the following day and are unimpressed.

scene 3
The son, Anders, goes to school. The mother, Anna, is still very paranoid, but her son needs to sleep by himself. After dropping Anders off, Anna gets on a bus. A man on the bus is watching her. She quickly gets off, and he follows and says hi. Disgruntled, she walks into a nearby department store, only to see the man from the bus, who works there. The man introduces himself as Helge and asks if Anna requires assistance. She responds in the affirmative and asks for a baby monitor. Although this is not Helge's division, he finds her one and sells it to Anna anyway.

scene 4
In the evening, Anna sets up the baby monitor while her son draws a picture of the apartment complex. The baby monitor works like this: on one end is a microphone that picks up all noises, and the other end only has a speaker for listening. The two share a frequency. Feeling secure, the two go to sleep. But in the middle of the night, Anna hears screaming. It's coming from the baby monitor. She runs into Anders' room, only to find him sound asleep.

scene 5
Anna goes back to the department store. Helge explains to her that she was probably just picking up another baby monitor due to a shared frequency, and a quick readjustment should fix things. That day, she goes to pick up Anders, who has made a friend. This boy is completely silent, but Anders insists that they take him home to play. Back at the apartment, the strange boy shuts Anders' bedroom door in Anna's face. She never sees him leave.

scene 6
Anna decides to investigate the baby monitor. Using her son's drawing of the apartment and the baby monitor's detection radius, she tries to find the source of the fight she keeps hearing. Later that day, Anders complains that his drawing is ruined. It's covered in blood.

scene 7
Behind the apartment is a forest. Within the forest there is allegedly a lake. In search of this lake, Anna follows a mother and her son into the forest. They find the lake, and Anna creeps on the other family as they play. She tries to take Anders to the lake to play, but instead all they find is a parking lot.

scene 8
Helge has asked Anna out before, but she's always rejected him. However, after her social worker makes a pass at her, she invites him over for dinner. While Anna is in the kitchen, Anders' strange friend appears and implies to Helge that his mother beats him. Presuming the boy to be Anders, Helge is disgusted and leaves. The strange boy returns to Anders' room.

scene 9
Anna goes through the apartment complex once again, trying to find the source of the baby monitor noises. She identifies a specific room, and sees a woman exit it.

scene 10
At the department store, Helge spots the strange boy through a window. He takes a picture of the boy. A man comes to ask him about baby monitors; he has been hearing strange noises of a fight.

scene 11
Anna returns to the lake by herself. She sees a group of men manhandling a small boy. They men hold the boy underwater and drown him. Anna dives in to rescue the boy but blacks out.

scene 12
Anna wakes up at the hospital. A nurse tells her she was found soaking wet in a parking lot. Police escort her home.

scene 13
At the apartment, Anna packs in a frenzy, convinced that someone is trying to kill her. Anders remains calm. Helge enters the apartment, planning to ask Anna about Anders, when they are interrupted by police storming the building. Fearing that the police are coming for her, Anna takes Anders into her arms and throws herself out the window.

scene 14 and a
Anna is dead. There is no trace of Anders. The police have arrested a car thief.

scene 15
Helge goes to investigate the apartment. On Anna's desk, he finds the map of the apartment and the baby monitor. He picks both up. To the side of the apartment, a grave is marked.

scene 16
At the alleged site of the grave, Helge digs. He finds the jacket of Anders' mysterious friend and a baby monitor. He hears a noise. Following it, Helge arrives at a lake.

Cackles and runs off into the sunset

Name of the Mutato;;

Ghast

-----

Reason for choosing the name;;
I chose the name Ghast because it means "inspiring horror" or ""shocking repellent". I thought the whole "scary story" theme suited this name perfectly. The name Ghast also sounds close to Ghost, which the pattern of this Mutato reminds me of as well. .

-----

Tell me a scary story:

Leaves crunched under my feet as I walked, shivering as I felt the cold nipping at my bare skin. Fumbling with my flashlight, I struggled to walk while simultaneously zipping up my jacket. unfortunately, as I started yanking on the zipper, the flashlight slipped out of my fingers, falling to the ground. The light on it flickered for a moment before finally going out.

"Oh no..." I sighed, kneeling down to blindly search for the now broken flashlight. I had not planned on being out in the forest in the middle of the night. Oh no, I would never dare go out here like this willingly. The family dog, Leo, had escaped again. He was always trying to burst through the fence doors, longing the freedom of the wild. We had adopted him as a stray, so it was no surprise that he preferred the outside world to a confined space. Nevertheless, I still had to find him.

"Leo! You dumb dog.." I called out as i searched for the flashlight, feeling relieved when I felt cool metal. I grasped the object in my hand, yanking upwards like I would any flashlight. However, this was not the case. What came next was something I had never expected.

I let out a shocked screech, dropping the object to the ground and stumbling backwards. My eyes were wide with fear, staring at the object in horror and confusion. What I had thought to be a flashlight, turned out to be wristwatch. Attached to that same wristwatch, was a human arm. Whoever it was appeared to be no longer alive, as I had felt no heat from the body or watch. Either way, I was still ready to book out of there as fast as I could.

"I'm sorry Leo, but you are not wor-" I had spun around in place, preparing to run back the way I came, when I came face to face with a thick iron gate. The design seemed to be old, possibly from the Victorian era, but it's design was no my current issue. The fact that it was there, right behind me, was a problem. In fact, when I had looked back the last time, the gate had not been there at all. I did not even remember passing through a gate, let alone stumbling upon one.

"Where did you come from..." I whispered, running my hand over the cool metal. I shivered again, another gust of wind passing over my skin. I remove my hand from the gate, tucking my arms against my chest as I turned around again, heart beating wildly. The landscape had changed once more, showing me an old graveyard instead of the endless forest I had once been in. I gulped, backing up a little against the metal gate. untucking one arm, I reached back behind me to push against what I perceived as the gate door. It would not budge. I glanced behind me in growing fear and shock, realizing the gate had become rusted, making it impossible to move even an inch. I considered climbing it, but the top was jagged and I would do more harm to myself than good. Despite my better judgement, I proceeded to trek on in to the graveyard, hoping for a way out.

Hours seemed to pass as I shuffled on, the gravestones growing no more welcoming than the last. I had tried to pass the time by reading the names, but most of them were no longer there. My heart was beating faster then ever, my breath staggered and my body shivering. I felt like I might pass out any minute, though my will to get out of this graveyard kept me walking. Finally, after what seemed like days and days of staggering on, I found myself face to face with a rather large gravestone. Unlike the other ones, this one seemed brand new and completely coherent. I considered the dangers of staying here for a moment, knowing that it was better to continue searching for a way out. As much as I wanted to leave, though, this gravestone seemed to be calling out to me. I felt attached to it oddly. Ignoring my better judgement for the time-being, I stayed to read over the gravestone.

"ugh...this is a bit hard to read. Its newer than the others...but still.."I muttered, eyes flickering over the stone letters as I attempted to decipher the carved letters. "Amy..Ha..Hassolen...wait..." I paused, all of reality suddenly hitting me at once. The pure shock of the realization was devastating, to say the least. At times I wish I had not read that gravestone. Maybe things would have been different. However, nothing would have changed my fate that dark night

"That arm..that wristwatch...this gravestone...that was me" I barely spoke coherently at this point in time, looking over my body. I refused to believe it. This could not be mine and that could not have been me. I was still here, alive and walking! Not only that, but I had no wristwatch on me.

"Oh sweetie, everybody knows that objects you have an attachment to will never pass on along with you" the cool, feminine voice behind me caused my heart to completely stop. I felt goosebumps all over my arms as I slowly turned around, coming face to face with some kind of humanoid. Her skin was bleach white, stitches running over her arms and face. Her eyes seemed to be stitched shut as well, though she seemed to be able to sense where I was. A rather long, and disgusting, tongue flowed out of her mouth, flicking back and forth as he seemingly blind face stared directly at me. The rest of her body was no more pleasant than her face, her bones poking tightly against her flesh. Her fingernails seemed dirty and not well taken care of, yellow with sharp edges. She was the definition of horrible.

"Who..who are you" I muttered, unable to find the energy to scream. I sidestepped to the right, shivering a little as her face followed my movement. She was unnerving, despite her lack of eyes. It felt as if she was watching my every movement. The female chuckled, baring her teeth to reveal sharp fangs.

"I am nobody. Everyone here is nobody. And this, I'm afraid, is not the afterlife you were probably hoping for. Every so often, one of you poor souls falls in to this realm. This realm...of nothing.."She cackled, amusement filling her as I suddenly bolted. I nearly tripped over my own two feet as I ran, glancing back after a few minutes to see a figure facing towards me on all four limbs. It was her, breaking through gravestones as she followed behind, cackling and hissing. I did not dare scream, afraid that I would attract even more as I dashed through the forest. My luck seemed to be against me though, as I heard the sounds of more cackling coming from around me. As i glanced over my shoulders, I could seem more figures on all four running towards me. My heart practically skipped several beats at a time as I ran, fearing what might happen if I was caught.

Finally, as if trying to be a pain one last time, my luck played the cruelest of jokes one me. I tripped over what was apparently my own arm, falling in to the pile of leaves next to it. I looked behind me, well aware of the figures that was racing towards me, cackling and hissing as they thought about their newest prey. I almost cried, pretty much ready to give up, when the sound of a dog startled me out of my fit. I looked over, seeing what appeared to be a ghostly image of a dog running towards me. It was Leo, the little monster that brought me out here in the first place. I was about to snap at him, despite my impending doom, when he suddenly started biting the corpse. the dog basically bit down and yanked hard on the arm, shocking me as I felt a little pinch in my own arm.

"No, he's reviving her! Get her before she escapes" the woman from before hissed, approaching me at a fast pace. I swallowed, shutting my eyes tightly as she hovered over me, cackling and hissing as she raised her arms. I sat there, frozen with fear, waiting for the pain. However, it never came.

I slowly opened my eyes as a thick tongue licked over my face, causing me to jump in fright. I looked over, expecting it to be the woman, only to find Leo, bouncing up and down excitedly. I was startled, unsure of if this was a dream or not. I glanced down at my arm to see bite marks. I felt growing fear again as I spotted the wristwatch attached to my arm. I glanced out at what was now a forest, though this time I was giving it no chance to change again.

"Leo you bad dog, come on!" I hissed, scrambling to my feet and dashing back towards the house. Thankfully, Leo followed me this time. I looked back at the forest one last time, swearing to never again step foot in there.

"She will be back. That gravestone is still here. She may not have stayed today, but as long as that gravestone still stands in our realm, she will return. One may delay fate, but escaping it is impossible"
