Talent: Epic Candy apple maker

Background: Wondering why a candy apple pony got a money-related name? Well, her mom was a lawyer and her dad was a banker. They thought that named her after money would make her follow in their hoof-steps. Luckily for Nikki, they were wrong. She always spent her free-time at the candy shop instead of the bank. Her hobby was baking, not counting money or studying law. Sweets fascinated her instead of fancy suits.

At first, her parents tried to stop it. They didn't want their daughter to be a baker. But Nikki kept sneaking out to buy more treats or cooking books. They'd confined her to the house, only for her friends to bring her the things she needed. Sooner or later though, they came to realize that their daughter was not meant to be a politician, but a confectioner. They allowed her to sign up as the sweet shop owner's apprentice.

Nikki was a natural. She was amazing and making every type of food their was, double if it was sweet. Cakes, cupcakes, pies, and tarts, all of them she was masterful at making. However the thing she loved most of all was candies. Candy candy candy. Nikki liked to make candy, eat candy, and serve her candy to happy customers.

Nikki earned her cutie mark when she made her first candied apple. It tasted like magic and Nikki loved making them more then anything she'd tried before. They tasted delicious and her customers loved them. Nikki had found her true talent.

Fears: Nikki has a wild, irrational fear of crickets. She hates them and is absolutely terrified of them. Why? Just look at them! They might be used commonly for an awkward sound effect, but in reality they should be seen as the entity of all things creepy. First of all,they can get as big as a hoof. That alone is terrifying enough for her, but it doesn't stop there. There eyes are pitch black marbles. They have long, twitchy antennas, and can jump up to one foot in the air. They give Nikki nightmares.

It started when Nikki opened a barrel of sugar for her red velvet cake that she was making and instead of sugar, she saw crickets. Not one or two, but the entire barrel was filled with little, tiny crickets, moving and squirming about. She had just gotten her cute mark by now, so she was still young. Nikki screamed, ran off, and would not go anywhere near the place until they hired an exterminator and debugged the place.

Ever since, Nikki has hated bugs, but especially crickets.

Personality: Nikki usually very relaxed and collected, laid back. She likes to take things easy, have fun and go with the flow. However when it comes to her job, she can be very serious about it. Nikki prides herself on being the best candy-apple maker in the land, and she has a reputation to uphold. She knows how to get things done, but if it's a large order, she can tend to lose the joy in it and become more machine then pony.

Nikki is also very, very competitive, but in a weird way. She doesn't mind losing at all, and actually is kind of happy to see the person win. She lives by the Golden Rule, AKA "Treat others how you want to be treated." So whenever she loses, she's still happy because how happy that person is. Unless they brag. Nikki can't stand bad sports.

Soo I go online, and see this thread. I go to page two and scroll for a bit then I see something. That's my form. I read Soul's post and then I proceed to squee.
