What other's see
Ahote is a defiant young wolf. He does not like to take orders, and therefore works mostly on his own. Some may say this wolf is a loner, as he roams, but he thinks of it as the opposite. He roams around, going from pack to pack, area to area, and whenever he does, he fixes soemthing. No one knows how or why he does it, but he almost has a certain mythical element to him. He often sepaks in prophcy. He is believed by some wolves to have the gift of foresight, which is how they think he sense danger. Ahote is a very protective wolf and although he can be trouble, he's very loyal and selfless. He puts others before himself, and will do whatever he can to protect others. He has a soft spot for ladies, and is very respectful, even a little awkward, around them.
What Ahote really is:
At a young age, Ahote knew he was a bit differnt than the other pups. He was constantly followed by a black raven that always seemed to be watching him. Ahote's father was a rogue, and his mother was the daughter of a high ranking wolf in the pack. When it was discovered that Ahote was a 'half-breed', the wolf who discovered kept it secret, as he wanted Ahote's mother to become his mate. He chased out AHote with the intent to kill the pup, but as he moved to end the pups life, the raven flew out of no where and struck the wolf dead. The pack, thinking that Ahote had killed the wolf, banished Ahote. It was then that Ahote met his future. The raven led the pup to a safe place, where after they were settle, it began to speak. The crow told Ahote of his future, and that Ahote had been chosen to be a spirit guide for many others, just as the raven was Ahote's spirit guide. The raven the told Ahote of his curse, to roam but never be found, and his gift, to save. After this, Ahote and the raven travled together.
What one (or more) of his/her tribal markings means. You could also use the accessories.:
Well, I think I'll do both.
Ahote's feather is a gift that he received from his spirit guide, the raven. At the time of thier first meeting, the raven was old. He knew that he would not live much longer, and that he would need a link to keep Ahote in contact. So he plucked a feather from his head, his wing, his tail, and a small feather from directly over his heart. He then gave these to Ahote to protect him and to maintain the contact the two had.
The lines around Ahote's eyes mean past, present, and future. The two thicker lines below the eyes are a reminder that the past will live forever, and that to succeed in the future, the past must teach us how to live the future. The three dots above the eye mean the present; mental, physical, and emotional. The present is written into the past by the choices and thoughts that an individual has. The the three strikes that slope toward the cheeck represent the future, and that chance that is involved. Will it be lived wisely, foolishly, or inbetween? This is a message that Ahote is fond of.
